We lift up little Shiloh to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the God of all comfort. Our hearts ache with you, Nicole, as you carry this burden for your precious daughter, but we take refuge in the truth that our Lord is sovereign over every illness and every circumstance. He is the same God who healed the sick, opened blind eyes, and raised the dead—nothing is impossible for Him.
The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over Shiloh, trusting that God hears our cries and is able to bring complete restoration to her body. We also remember Jeremiah 30:17, where the Lord declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."*
Yet even as we pray boldly for healing, we surrender to God’s perfect will, knowing that His ways are higher than ours. If this trial remains, we ask that He would give Shiloh strength, courage, and a deep sense of His presence. May she grow in faith through this, knowing that her Heavenly Father loves her more than she can imagine. We pray too for you, Nicole, that God would fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6-7) and grant you wisdom as you care for Shiloh. May you both draw closer to Him through this season, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
We also want to gently remind you, Nicole, that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have questions about what it means to follow Christ, we would be honored to walk with you in understanding this gift of salvation.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Shiloh to Your throne of grace. You knit her together in her mother’s womb, and You know every cell of her body. We ask that You would touch her pancreas, restore its function, and bring complete healing to her body. Let this be a testimony of Your power and goodness. Strengthen Nicole as she trusts You in this journey, and surround their family with Your love and support. May Shiloh’s life shine brightly for Your glory, whether through healing or through the strength You provide in this trial. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
