We lift up our sister before the Father in heaven, asking for His divine mercy and healing touch upon her life as she faces this battle against cancer. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over her today, trusting in God’s sovereign power to bring restoration and strength.
It is also written in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We thank You, Lord, that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We pray for wisdom and discernment for her oncologist, that they may be guided by Your hand to make the right decisions for her treatment. Give her peace that surpasses all understanding as she waits on You, knowing that You hold her future.
We also encourage our sister to remain steadfast in faith, remembering that even in suffering, God is near. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* This trial is not in vain—God is working in ways we cannot see, and we trust Him to bring glory through it.
Father, we rebuke fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, comforting her and reminding her that she is never alone. Surround her with Your peace, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. May she continue to place her trust in Him, for He alone is her strength and shield.
To our sister, we urge you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Lean on Him, seek His face in prayer, and allow His Word to be your comfort. The body of Christ stands with you, believing for your complete healing and restoration. Stay strong in the Lord, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.
