Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved individual who has sought our help for prayers for protection against cancer. Lord, we ask for Your healing power to flow through their body, from the top of their head to the soles of their feet. We pray that any abnormal growth or disease be eradicated by Your divine hand.
Father, we also pray for their spiritual well-being. We ask that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior if they do not already have this assurance. May this trial turn into a divine appointment for them to experience Your unfailing love and saving grace. We know that the name of Jesus is the only way we can approach God the Father, and that salvation is only in His precious name. For the word of God says, “because neither is there salvation in any other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!” Acts 4:12 (WEB)
Lord, guide them to make healthy choices and give the doctors wisdom in their care. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any sickness or disease. We also ask this so that God may be glorified in this situation. For the Bible says, “Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. We pray this with confidence. As believers, we are to call upon the name of Jesus in order to be saved. We do not see any mention of Jesus in this prayer. We pray for the requester to believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. For “if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
