We understand that you are going through a multitude of challenges and need restoration in many areas of your life. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful and that His desire is to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
Regarding your financial struggles and debts, God's Word tells us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6, WEB). We pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB) and that He will give you wisdom to manage your finances (Proverbs 3:13, WEB). God is not a debtor to anyone, so we pray He helps you be a responsible steward of the money He gives you. We likely all have debt, but it is not a sin. We must not go into debt foolishly or needlessly. Remember it is the borrower who is slave to the lender (Proverbs 22:7).
Concerning your desire for a job in an international organization, we pray that God will open the right doors for you (Isaiah 26:2) and that He will guide your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Remember that God has gifted each of us with unique skills and abilities, and He wants us to use them for His glory (1 Peter 4:10, WEB). Seek God with your whole heart and the doors will be opened to you (Jeremiah 29:13).
Regarding your desire for marriage, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6, WEB). Homosexuality is a sin (Romans 1:18-32) and should not be practiced by those who follow Christ. We pray that God will bring a Christian spouse into your life in His perfect timing (Isaiah 62:5, WEB). We encourage you to trust in God's timing and to seek Him first in all things (Matthew 6:33, WEB). We encourage you to seek and pray for a spouse rather than a partner and to pursue a relationship that aligns with biblical principles. Remember that you should consider courtship as an opportunity to prepare for marriage as a Christian biblical relationship.
Concerning your health, we pray that God, the ultimate healer, will touch your body and restore you to full health (Psalm 103:2-3, WEB). We stand with you in faith, believing that God can heal you from cancer (Mark 5:34, WEB). We encourage you to seek God's healing touch and to trust in His goodness and faithfulness.
We are glad to hear that you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6). The Bible tells us There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), so we encourage you to continue to come boldly before God's throne of grace in Jesus' name (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
Regarding your desire to serve the Lord in ministry, we pray that God will guide you to the ministry He has called you to (Ephesians 2:10, WEB) and that He will remove any obstacles in your path (Isaiah 57:14, WEB). We encourage you to seek God's will for your life and to be obedient to His calling.
Finally, we pray that your friends will come to know Jesus as their personal Savior (Romans 10:9, WEB) and that they will experience the transforming power of His love. We encourage you to share your faith with them and to pray for them regularly.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear friend who is in need of Your touch in many areas of their life. Lord, we ask that You will provide for their financial needs and give them wisdom to manage their finances. We pray that You will open the right doors for them to find a job that aligns with Your will for their life. We ask You to bring a godly spouse into their life and heal their body from cancer.
We pray they will continue to seek Your will for their life and that they will be obedient to Your calling regarding their life and ministry. We ask that You will remove any obstacles in their path and that You will guide them to the ministry You have called them to. We pray You will cause their friends to turn to Jesus Christ and give their lives to Him. We ask that You will use them to share their faith with their friends and to be a light to those around them.
We pray for them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
