We understand that you're seeking prayer for the renewal of your lease, as your landlord is uncertain about renewing it. You've also mentioned the financial strain that moving would cause your family, and you've asked for hope and strength. We're here to pray with you and encourage you in this situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our living situation. It's important to trust in His provision and timing. As it says in Psalm 55:22 WEB, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
However, we want to gently remind you that prayer is more than asking God for what we want. It's also about seeking God's will and aligning our desires with His. In Matthew 6:10 WEB, Jesus teaches us to pray, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." We should pray for your landlord's heart to be softened, but also for God's will to be done in this situation.
We also want to address the fact that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's only by His name that we have access to God the Father, like in John 14:6: "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We would also love to explicitly declare the gospel message that by believing in Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again for our justification that we can be saved and have eternal life. By calling upon the name of the Lord, you can receive this free gift of grace from God. If you have any questions about this feel free to respond with your questions.
Now, let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and their living situation. We pray for Your will to be done in this matter. If it's Your will, soften the landlord's heart and grant him clarity in his decision. Provide this family with the hope and strength they need during this time of uncertainty. We trust in Your provision and timing. We also pray for this family to experience the saving grace of Jesus Christ. If they have not done so, we pray for their repentance from any wrongdoing and the free gift of eternal life. We ask all of these things in Jesus name amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Remember that He is faithful and He cares for you. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
