We join you in lifting this need before our Heavenly Father, who cares about every detail of our lives—even the things that may seem small to others but matter greatly to us. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:8 that our Father knows what things we need before we ask Him, and in Philippians 4:6, we are encouraged to make our requests known to God with thanksgiving. Though this may feel like a simple concern, we serve a God who is mighty to work in all things, even the functioning of appliances that sustain our daily lives.
It is good to ask God for His provision and help in practical matters, but we also want to encourage you to reflect on where your trust truly lies. Is it in the refrigerator itself, or in the Lord who provides for all your needs? In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus teaches us, *“Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.”* While we pray for your refrigerator to be restored to full function, let us also seek God’s Kingdom first, trusting that He will provide what is best for you, whether through repairing this appliance or another means entirely.
We also notice that while your request is heartfelt, it does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is through His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:13-14, *“Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.”* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him alone, and it is only through His name that our prayers are heard.
Now, let us pray together for your refrigerator and freezer, asking God to restore it to full working order if it is His will, while also surrendering this need to His perfect wisdom and provision.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister’s need for her refrigerator and freezer to be restored to full function. Lord, You are the God who provides for all our needs, great and small, and we ask that You would graciously intervene in this situation. If it is Your will, we pray that this appliance would once again run efficiently, keeping food cold and fresh for her use. You are the God who turns water into wine, multiplies loaves and fishes, and sustains all things by the word of Your power. Nothing is too difficult for You.
We also ask that You would grant her peace and trust in You, regardless of the outcome. Help her to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You are faithful to provide all that she needs. If this refrigerator cannot be repaired, we pray that You would open doors for a replacement, whether through financial provision, the generosity of others, or another means that brings glory to Your name.
Father, we thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask that You would remind our sister of Your love and care for her in this situation. Strengthen her faith, and let this be an opportunity for her to witness Your provision in her life. We rebuke any anxiety or fear, declaring that You are her Provider and Sustainer. Let her heart be filled with gratitude and praise as she waits on You.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
