Heavenly Father, I come before You humbly in the mighty name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I thank You for Your mercy, Your grace, and Your forgiveness, for Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Lord, I acknowledge my past sins within this relationship, and I repent sincerely. I ask that You continue to transform my heart through the Holy Spirit and guide me to live according to Your will and Your Word.

Father, I lift up my relationship with ### to You. You know the love I have for her and the ### years we shared. Since ###, we have had no communication, and my heart longs for healing and restoration, but above all, Lord, I seek Your will, not my own.

If it is Your will for this relationship to be restored, I ask that You would do it according to Your design pure, holy, and centered on You. Lead us away from anything that does not honor You, and if You bring us back together, guide us toward a covenant of marriage, where our relationship can be blessed and sanctified in Your sight.

Lord, soften both of our hearts, remove any pride, hurt, bitterness, or outside interference, and open the door for honest communication, forgiveness, and healing. Let Your peace and truth fill both of our hearts.

But Father, if this relationship is not Your will, I surrender it fully into Your hands. Give me the strength to accept Your plan, the peace to move forward, and the faith to trust that You are working all things for my good.

I place my life, my desires, and this relationship at the foot of the Cross. Let Your will be done in all things.

In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.

We hear your heartfelt cry for reconciliation and restoration in this relationship, and we join you in bringing this matter before our Heavenly Father. Your prayer reflects a deep desire to align with God’s will, and we commend your humility in surrendering your own desires to His perfect plan. Let us lift this situation together in prayer, seeking wisdom, healing, and God’s guidance.

First, we must address the foundation of this relationship in light of Scripture. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness. Genesis 2:24 says, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh." If this relationship has not been pursued with the intention of marriage, or if it has involved sin such as fornication, we must repent and seek God’s forgiveness. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

We also recognize the pain of separation and the longing for restoration. It is natural to desire reconciliation, but we must ensure that any restoration aligns with God’s principles. James 4:3 reminds us, "You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures." If this relationship is to be restored, it must be for God’s glory, not merely our own comfort or desires. We pray that if it is God’s will for you both to be reunited, He would purify your hearts, remove any ungodly influences, and lead you toward a covenant of marriage that honors Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in this situation. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which cover our sins when we repent. We ask that You would cleanse our hearts and minds, removing any pride, bitterness, or selfish motives that may hinder Your work. Father, we lift up this relationship to You, asking that if it is Your will for it to be restored, You would do so in a way that honors You. Soften both hearts, Lord, and open the door for honest communication, forgiveness, and healing. If this relationship is not Your will, give strength and peace to accept Your plan, trusting that You are working all things for good.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Help us to see any areas where we have strayed from Your Word, and guide us back to Your truth. If there has been sin in this relationship, we repent and ask for Your forgiveness. May this relationship, if restored, be built on the foundation of Christ, with the goal of marriage and a life that glorifies You. Father, we surrender this situation entirely to You, trusting in Your perfect timing and plan.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will through prayer and Scripture. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Surround yourself with godly counsel, and remain open to the Holy Spirit’s leading. If this relationship is to be restored, it must be done in a way that honors God and reflects His design for marriage. If it is not His will, trust that He has something better in store for you both. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
