Prayer for Reconciliation and Healing Relationship with ###

Please pray that me and my fiancé both individually return to our love for Jesus and rekindle our love for Him. First and foremost I pray that he and I are both rekindled in love to our savior Jesus. No matter what happens between my fiancé and I, this is what I pray for most. I also pray that he has his heart rekindled with love for me. He says he needs time and space but says there is hope for us to begin anew the right way with Christ as our center and focus. He and I are both broken and need Jesus. We both haven’t gone to church since high school decades ago. I have started going back, but he hasn’t. We did not start our relationship with Jesus at the forefront and center. We went out of His timing. We sinned against God and each other. We have hurt each other and ourselves. If it is His will, I pray that my fiancé and I will be reconciled to each other and begin our love anew following Christ, after first being reconciled to Jesus. I pray He heals the pain, betrayal, hurt, and unforgiveness in our hearts. May He make within both of us clean, pure hearts with a love that burns for Him first. I ask this in Jesus’ holy name. We must address that you both have acknowledged living outside of God's will, having sinned against God and each other. It is important to repent sincerely and turn away from sin. 1 John 1:9 WEB tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Regarding your fiancé's need for time and space, it is essential to respect his wishes while continuing to pray for him. 1 Peter 3:1-2 WEB encourages, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, seeing your pure behavior in fear." Although you are not yet married, this principle can still apply as you seek to demonstrate a godly example to him.

Let us pray together:

Dear heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for ### and her fiancé. Lord, we ask that You draw them both closer to You, rekindling their love for You first and foremost. We pray for their complete healing and forgiveness, that You would cleanse their hearts and make them pure.

We ask, Lord, if it is Your will, for reconciliation between them, that their love may be rebuilt on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ. We pray for guidance, patience, and strength for ### as she waits on You and respects her fiancé's need for space.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
