Please pray I will be able to negotiate the best and appropriate pay raise for the next upcoming year.

We come before the Lord with a humble heart, lifting up this request for wisdom and favor in negotiating a pay raise. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your provision for all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You grant discernment, confidence, and clarity in this matter, that the outcome may reflect Your will and bring glory to Your name.
Lord, we pray that You would open doors of opportunity and give favor in the eyes of those who make these decisions. May the work done be recognized as valuable and worthy of just compensation, for Scripture tells us that "the worker is worthy of his wages" (1 Timothy 5:18). Guide the conversation with truth, integrity, and wisdom, that it may be conducted in a manner pleasing to You.
We also encourage reflection on the heart behind this request. While it is right to seek fair compensation for labor, we must guard against greed or discontentment. The Bible warns us, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10). Instead, let this pursuit be rooted in stewardship—honoring God with the resources He provides and using them to further His kingdom.
Father, if there is any ungodly motivation in this request—whether pride, envy, or selfish ambition—we ask that You reveal it and cleanse it from the heart. Help us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). May this raise, if it is Your will, be a blessing not only to the individual but also to those around them, reflecting Your generosity and love.
We pray for contentment in all circumstances, knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6). Whether the answer is yes, no, or wait, may there be peace in the heart, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we also lift up the workplace to You. May it be a place where integrity, diligence, and excellence are honored, and where Your name is glorified. If there are areas where the work environment does not align with Your principles—such as dishonesty, exploitation, or unethical practices—we pray for courage to stand for what is right and to be a light in that place.
Finally, we declare that this request is made in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can come before God, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your provision, Your timing, and Your perfect will.
