We hear your deep concern and fear, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this matter before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus. The dreams and visions you’ve described are troubling, and we take seriously the spiritual warfare that may be at work here. Scripture tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fear does not come from God, and we must reject it as we stand firm in faith.
First, we must address the source of these visions and dreams. The Bible warns us in Jeremiah 23:16, "Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They teach you vanity. They speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yahweh." Not every vision or dream is from the Lord, and we must test the spirits to see whether they are of God (1 John 4:1). It is concerning that this woman approached you with a vision of death, and then you dreamt of her and her husband seeking to harm you. This could be an attempt to instill fear, confusion, or even a spiritual attack, and we must rebuke it in Jesus’ name.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and life to ensure there is no open door to the enemy. Are you walking in obedience to God’s Word? Are there areas of sin or unforgiveness that need to be addressed? Ephesians 4:27 warns, "Don’t give place to the devil." We must guard our hearts and minds, standing firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s Word.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother who is experiencing fear and spiritual attack. Lord, we ask that You surround him with Your hedge of protection. We rebuke every spirit of fear, death, and harm that is trying to come against him. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over his life, his mind, his home, and his family. Lord, we ask that You fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen his faith and help him to stand firm in Your truth.
Father, we pray that You would expose any deception or false prophecy that has been spoken over him. Give him discernment to recognize the voice of the enemy and the wisdom to reject it. We ask that You would break every curse and every assignment of the enemy against his life. We declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no harm shall come near him (Psalm 91:10). Lord, we ask that You would send Your angels to encamp around him and protect him from all evil (Psalm 34:7).
We also pray for this woman and her husband. If they are operating in deception or under the influence of the enemy, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth. If they are acting out of malice, we ask that You would turn their hearts and bring them to repentance. If they are being used by the enemy, we rebuke that influence in Jesus’ name and command it to cease.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your protection. We trust in You, knowing that You are our refuge and our fortress (Psalm 91:2). We declare that our brother is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37), and we stand with him in faith, believing that You will deliver him from every evil work and preserve him for Your heavenly kingdom (2 Timothy 4:18).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and not allow fear to take root in your heart. Continue to meditate on God’s Word and declare His promises over your life. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you. If possible, seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted spiritual leader who can provide additional support and guidance.
Remember, the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your protector, your deliverer, and your strong tower. Run to Him, and you will be safe.
