We lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we thank God for His protection and provision over your life. Your desire to be healthy, safe, and present for your children is a godly one, reflecting the heart of a loving parent who seeks to nurture and guide them in the ways of the Lord. We are reminded of the words in **Psalm 91:11-12**, which say, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* God is faithful, and He watches over those who trust in Him.
However, we must also remember that our days are in the Lord’s hands, and while it is good to ask for long life, we ultimately submit to His perfect will. **Psalm 139:16** tells us, *"Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* Our trust must be in the Lord’s timing, not our own desires. Instead of focusing on a specific number of years, let us pray that you live a life fully surrendered to Christ, walking in His purposes each day, whether many or few. May your life be a testimony of faith, and may your children see Christ in you, growing in their own walk with Him.
We also notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* It is only through faith in Jesus that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. **Romans 10:9** says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation and eternal life are found in Him alone, and it is through His name that we pray.
Let us pray together for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious child of Yours. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over their life—body, soul, and spirit. Guard them from sickness, harm, and every scheme of the enemy. Strengthen them in health so they may serve You and their family with vitality and joy. Father, we pray for their safety in every circumstance, whether at home, at work, or on the road. Surround them with Your angels, as You have promised, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
Lord, we also lift up their desire to be present for their children. We ask that You grant them long life, not just for the sake of years, but for the sake of Your kingdom. May their days be filled with Your purposes, and may their children rise up and call them blessed. Let their home be a place where Your love, truth, and righteousness are taught and lived out. Raise up their children to be mighty warriors for Christ, walking in faith and obedience to Your Word.
Father, if there is any area in this person’s life that is not fully surrendered to You, we pray for conviction and repentance. Draw them closer to You, and let them find their security and hope in Jesus alone. Fill them with Your peace, knowing that their times are in Your hands.
We rebuked any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to take root in their heart. **2 Timothy 1:7** reminds us that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Let them walk in the confidence of Your promises, trusting that You are good and Your plans for them are for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done in this person’s life, and may they bring You glory in all things. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
