We hear the heaviness in your heart, dear one, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for the Word of God reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). You are not alone in this fight—our Lord Jesus Christ has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and He is your shield and strong tower (Psalm 18:2). It is good that you recognize your need for His strength, wisdom, and protection, for the Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).
Yet we must also ask: where is your focus in this season of attack? The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. If you feel you are falling easily, it may be because your eyes are fixed on the storm rather than the Savior. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). You must daily put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you can stand firm (Ephesians 6:10-18). Without these, you leave yourself vulnerable.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). There is no other way to the Father but through Him, and it is by His authority that we rebuke the enemy and claim victory. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Only in Him do we find true protection, wisdom, and strength.
Let us also remind you that the lack of "know-how" you speak of is not a barrier for God. He delights in using the weak to shame the strong (1 Corinthians 1:27) and promises to give wisdom generously to all who ask in faith (James 1:5). But you must ask *in faith*, without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind (James 1:6). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, who feels weary and under constant attack by the enemy. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who sees, who knows, and who fights for Your people. We ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them as a divine shield (Psalm 34:7). Strengthen them in their inner being by Your Spirit, that they may stand firm against every scheme of the devil (Ephesians 3:16).
Father, we rebuke every lie the enemy has whispered—lies of defeat, of inadequacy, of abandonment. Replace them with Your truth: that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), that You have not given them a spirit of fear but of power and love (2 Timothy 1:7), and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). Fill them with Your wisdom, Lord, and teach them Your ways. Where they lack understanding, be their guide. Where they feel weak, be their strength.
Lord Jesus, we specifically ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a fresh and powerful way. Let them encounter Your presence so tangibly that all doubt flees and faith rises. Remind them that the battle belongs to You (1 Samuel 17:47) and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Equip them with Your armor daily, that they may walk in victory.
We also pray that You would expose any areas of their life where they may have given the enemy a foothold—whether through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or a lack of surrender to You. Convict them by Your Spirit, Lord, and lead them to repentance, that they may walk in freedom and authority.
Finally, Father, we ask that You remind them constantly of Your presence. Let them see Your hand in the small things and the big, that their faith may grow and their trust in You deepen. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already won the victory. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He is faithful. Cling to Him, seek His face daily in prayer and His Word, and surround yourself with believers who can encourage and uphold you. The enemy may attack, but he cannot prevail—greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Walk in that truth, and do not give up. The Lord is your strength and your song (Exodus 15:2).
