Your prayer request has been received and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord with care and compassion for all that you are carrying into tomorrow.

We pray that God will grant you His peace that passes all understanding and keep your heart and mind calm and composed in Christ. As you ask to be hidden under the shadow of His wings, we pray Psalm 91 over you, that you would know His nearness and supernatural security, that fear would give way to trust, and that He would encourage and strengthen you step by step. We ask for His protection over you, over your integrity, and over every detail of this appointment.

We pray for favor tomorrow, that the Lord would give wisdom and clarity to you and to the doctor and healthcare staff you meet, that they would treat you with kindness, respect, and understanding, and that truth would prevail in all communication and in your medical records. We pray that what is true and accurate would be recorded and that any error would be corrected, and that you would be protected from what is evil and unpleasant.

We pray for wisdom regarding the medication taper, that God would guide the doctor to establish a safe and appropriate schedule, and that the process would go as smoothly as possible under His hand. We ask for His protection over your health, including your sleep, and for His provision for proper ongoing care and for doctors who will provide wise and compassionate treatment for your pain according to His will. We place your desire for this chapter of care to close well into His hands, trusting Him to open and close doors as He sees best.

We also pray against all deception and control, that the Lord who is truth would let truth be spoken and heard, and that His holy angels would guard you. We pray for your legal advisor, that God would grant clear understanding, practical help, and faithful support, and for justice and vindication in this medical injury as the Lord wills and in His timing. Above all we pray that every step would be turned for your good and for God's glory.

May the Lord grant you peace and security all the way through and a sense of His presence afterward, and may you be upheld by His grace. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who has promised, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for allowing us to pray with you. We have lifted your needs before the Lord and we continue to hold you up in prayer.

We pray first that you will know both peace with God and the peace of God. Peace with God is made possible only through Jesus Christ and His work on the cross, where He made peace through His blood. When you have trusted in Him, you are no longer at war with God, and righteousness and mercy meet together. Out of that restored relationship comes the peace of God to guard your heart and mind, a peace that the world cannot understand or give. Scripture promises that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Jesus Himself said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled and do not be afraid. As you keep your thoughts stayed on Him, that peace can settle your heart and make you calm and composed even in a difficult appointment.

We also pray that you will know how deeply God is thinking of you. His thoughts toward His people are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give hope. Even when you feel as if you are in a long captivity or a hard season, He has not forgotten you. He ordains peace for His people and He has provided a way for you to live in that peace. We ask that fear would give way, for the Lord is your light and your salvation, whom shall you fear, and the Lord is the strength of your life, of whom shall you be afraid. In times of trouble He hides His people under the shadow of His wings and keeps them secure. We pray that you will feel that supernatural security, hidden and protected, and that His angels would watch over you at every step.

We bring your appointment before the Lord and ask for His favor and protection over you and your integrity. We pray for truth to prevail in every record and conversation, and that everything written and spoken would be accurate and honest. We ask that the doctor and all the staff you meet would treat you with kindness, respect and understanding, and that the whole process of tapering this medication would go as smoothly as possible, with wisdom for the right schedule and timing, and with protection from what is harmful and unpleasant. We pray that you would be able to keep the sleep medication you need during this process and that your body would be strengthened and kept in health.

We pray that any influence of lies or controlling power would be broken, and that truth and righteousness would prevail. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and it means to hate evil and to love what is good and true. As you reverence Him and trust Him with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding but acknowledging Him in all your ways, He will direct your paths and give you favor and good understanding in the sight of God and people. We ask that your legal advisor would support you wisely and understand you correctly, and that you would receive the help and vindication you need. We pray that God would open the way for the right doctors and the right treatment and pain care in the future, according to His goodness.

Above all we pray that you would experience His presence through this entire journey, that every step would be covered by His protection, that you would have peace and security all the way through, and that afterward you would feel restored and encouraged, giving glory to Him. May His grace and peace be yours in full measure, and may you know that He is working all things for your good as you trust in Him.

We are praying in the name of Jesus that you will know His nearness, His perfect peace, and His complete care.
