We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for healing and provision. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our head. Your Word declares in Psalm 139:13-14, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."* Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation, softening the hearts of those who hold the power to approve this life-saving medication.
We pray for favor in this prior authorization appeal, that the decision-makers would see the urgency and necessity of this treatment. Your Word assures us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Father, we trust You to guide the steps of those reviewing this appeal, that they would act with wisdom, compassion, and justice. We rebuke any spirit of delay or bureaucracy that would stand in the way of Your provision, and we declare that this approval will come swiftly and without further hindrance.
We also lift up the financial burden that weighs heavily on this family. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and Your Word promises in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We ask that You would open doors of provision, whether through insurance approval, financial assistance, or unexpected blessings, so that this medication does not become a source of stress or debt. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard this heart and mind as they wait.
Father, we recognize the anxiety that has taken root in this situation, and we ask that You would calm these fears with Your perfect peace. Your Word reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Lord, we cast this burden at Your feet, trusting that You are in control. Fill this heart with Your love, Your encouragement, and Your assurance that You are working all things together for good. Let this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and reliance on Your promises.
We also want to gently remind this dear one that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His sacrifice on the cross that we are reconciled to God, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If there is any doubt or uncertainty about their relationship with Jesus, we encourage them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, 13). Salvation is a free gift, and we pray that they would receive it fully if they have not already.
Lord, we stand in the gap for this family, declaring that this appeal will be approved, that provision will be made, and that peace will reign in their hearts. We trust You to move in ways that only You can, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
