Please pray God's will be done regarding the potential hire of a new member that will be added to my team at my company.

We come before the Lord with hearts open to His perfect will, lifting up this matter of the potential new hire for your team. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your sovereignty over all things, including the people who join our workplaces. We ask that You guide this decision according to Your divine purpose and wisdom.
Lord, we pray that You would grant clarity and discernment to those making this hiring decision. May they see beyond outward appearances and qualifications to the heart of the candidate, just as You do. "For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7 WEB). Let this new team member be someone who will not only contribute to the work but also honor You in their conduct, bringing glory to Your name in their actions and interactions.
We also ask that You prepare the heart of this potential hire. If it is Your will for them to join this team, soften their heart to receive the opportunity and equip them with the skills, wisdom, and character needed to thrive in this role. If it is not Your will, close the door gently and redirect them to where You would have them serve. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5 WEB).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or ungodly influence that may seek to disrupt this process. We declare that this decision will be made in alignment with Your will, free from selfish ambition, favoritism, or worldly standards. Let Your peace reign in the hearts of all involved, and may this new hire, if chosen, be a blessing to the team and a testimony of Your goodness.
