We are so grateful to join with you in prayer for this precious child and his family. Let's come together in Jesus' name and lift them up before the Lord. We know that God works all things together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose, so we can trust this is not meaningless.
Firstly, and very importantly, let's remember how Jesus Christ himself suffered trauma on the cross. He knows how we feel in these situations and he is our advocate before the Father interceding for us.
We pray for the child, that the Lord would place his healing hands upon him, and that he would recover swiftly and completely. We know that Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. We pray for this same healing power to be upon this child, and we command any sickness or infirmity to leave his body, in Jesus' name. "They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no way hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 16:18 WEB.
We also lift up the parents, asking that God would grant them supernatural strength and endurance as they care for their child. We pray that they would find support in the body of Christ, and that they would also get the rest they need, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 WEB.
We pray for Peace. The Bible tells us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Lastly, we pray that this family would draw closer to God during this time, and that they would sense his presence and goodness in the midst of their circumstances. We ask that this situation would be used for God's glory, and that it would serve to strengthen their faith and trust in him. "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 WEB.
Thank you for bringing this request to us, and for joining with us in prayer. We know that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective, and we trust that God will hear and answer our prayers. Let's remain steadfast in faith and continue to lift up this child and his family before the Lord.
