We are truly moved by your plight and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As a group, we are committed to praying for your complete healing, both physically and mentally. However, we must address something before we begin. We noticed that your prayer is addressed to the "Lord God Almighty" but does not mention Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in the Bible, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Beloved, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we are saved. "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today.
Now, let us pray for your healing. "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:16 WEB.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son who died on the cross for our sins and rose again for our justification. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is in desperate need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Healer of all our diseases. We claim Your promises in the words of the Psalmist, 'Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.' Psalm 103:1-3 WEB.
Father, we pray that during the next hospital visit, Your will be done. We pray for divine intervention, that the doctors will have wisdom and discernment, that they will make accurate diagnoses and administer the right medications. But Lord, we know that true healing comes from You. We ask that You heal every physical and mental ailment, that You restore health and happiness, that You give a future full of hope and success. In the name of Jesus Christ, we declare complete healing and restoration.
Lord, we also pray for spiritual healing. We pray that our brother/sister will know You deeply and intimately, that they will be filled with Your Holy Spirit, that they will walk in Your ways and live according to Your will. We pray for salvation, for a life lived in the abundant grace and love of Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we stand against any plan of the enemy to cause further harm or distress. We proclaim victory in Jesus' name. Amen.
