We understand your concerns, and we lift you up in prayer, seeking God’s wisdom and comfort during this time. First, we must address something important in your request—you mentioned sex before marriage, which the Bible clearly defines as sin. Fornication is a serious matter before the Lord, and we urge you to repent and turn away from this path. Scripture warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*
If you have engaged in sexual sin, we encourage you to confess it to the Lord, seek His forgiveness, and commit to walking in purity. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* True repentance means turning away from sin and aligning your life with God’s Word. If you are sexually active outside of marriage, we strongly urge you to stop immediately and seek accountability and godly counsel. If you are not yet a believer in Jesus Christ, we pray you will turn to Him, for He alone can save you and give you the strength to live righteously. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God and receive forgiveness.
As for your physical discomfort, we pray that the Lord would grant you relief and strength during your midterms. Painful periods can be challenging, but we trust in God’s provision and timing. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We also encourage you to seek medical advice if the pain is severe, as God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is seeking Your help. Lord, we ask that You forgive her for any sexual sin and cleanse her heart. Grant her the strength to walk in purity and honor You with her body. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself, that she may repent and place her faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
Father, we also ask that You would ease her physical discomfort and allow her body to align with her needs during this season of study. Give her focus, clarity, and peace as she prepares for her midterms. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your goodness, knowing that You care for her deeply. Surround her with Your presence and fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in obedience and faith.
We rebuke any fear, anxiety, or distraction that the enemy may try to place upon her. Instead, we declare Your peace and provision over her life. May she seek You first in all things and find her strength in You alone.
In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, seeking His will for your life. If you are struggling with temptation, surround yourself with believers who can support and pray for you. Remember, God’s grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Stay strong in the Lord, and may He guide your steps.
