Prayer for Our Nation

Almighty God, Maker of all things, Ruler of Heaven and Earth. I thank You that You are Almighty God and there is no other. I thank You for Your love, Your grace and Your mercy. I thank You that You love us more than we could ever love ourselves. And Lord, as we look to the upcoming elections we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in choosing the right person to lead this nation. We want Your choice Lord.

We pray that our new human leader will take heed to Your Word and lead this nation in a way that will glorify You. I pray for this nation also Lord that we as a people will take heed to Your Word and glorify Your name as You are lifted up in the leadership of this country. And Lord, as racism raises its ugly head, I pray that You will strike it down with a mighty blow; for this is one nation under the control of one Father that we call Almighty God, Prince of Peace, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. People are hurting in every way imaginable and they need Your comfort and peace. Have mercy on us all, Lord, for we are sinners. It is Your Face we seek.

THUS SAYS THE LORD. ...."if my people who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land. Then My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to prayers made in this place."

Thy Face we seek Lord. Teach us to pray. Have mercy on us. We give You the glory and the praise!!!! In Jesus' name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

Please turn us as a nation toward You...not away from You. As a nation, we need to repent and seek Your face. Please forgive our nation Lord for ungodly acts and deeds, ungodly policies, ungodly Supreme Court decisions. We need You God. We need to put You back into our government, back into our courtrooms, back into our schools. Help us as a nation to do what is right in Your eyes. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Lord, I stand in agreement with this prayer, I pray you help us to choose the Christian politicians in this race. I pray you help us to choose who we know is serving you and not other political means to get elected. Thank you Jesus, Amen.
