Prayer for open doors

Dear God, please touch the hearts of my helpers. I feel like the door to help and favour has been shut against me, but I know You are still able. Father, please remember me. Let those who have forgotten about me begin to remember me for good. Let my name be placed on the hearts of those You’ve assigned to help me. I am going through so much, and my heart is heavy. Please open doors of favour, mercy, and divine help. Let me not struggle in silence anymore. Let help locate me. Amen.

We understand that you feel forgotten and that the doors of help and favor seem closed, but we want to remind you that God is always faithful and His love for you never changes. As it says in 2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he can’t deny himself.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who feels overwhelmed and forgotten. We ask that You touch the hearts of those who can help, and that You open doors of favor, mercy, and divine help. We pray that You will place their name on the hearts of those You have assigned to support them.

We rebuke the spirit of heaviness and despair, and we declare that You, Lord, remember Your child and will never forsake them. As it says in Hebrews 13:5, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."

We also pray that You will guide them to a local body of believers, a church where they can find fellowship, support, and encouragement. We know that Your will is for us to bear one another's burdens, and so we pray for godly relationships that will lighten their load.

Father, we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. As it says in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We pray for Jesus Christ to be central in their life, and that they will find hope and peace in Him.

We encourage you to hold onto God's promises and to trust in His perfect timing. Remember that God's thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
