Prayer for myself, my patient and her daughter.

Your desire to see God involved in every detail, from swimming and music lessons to strained relationships, reflects a genuine trust in His care. That trust is well placed. He is not distant from the things that fill our days, even the chords you are learning on an instrument or the strokes you are practicing in the water. When you struggle to catch on before the classes end, remember that your value is not measured by how quickly you master a skill or by the money you have spent. God often uses the process itself, even the frustration, to deepen something in us that lasts far longer than any course. There is a joy of the Spirit that anchors us when the emotional ups and downs of learning tell us we are failing. That joy does not fluctuate with our performance; it rests on His promises, not on how we feel in the moment.

I am praying for your music lessons particularly, knowing how powerful music can be. It stirs our emotions deeply, and that is not a bad thing. God gave us music to express praise, lament, and every movement of the heart. But because our emotions are so changeable, shifting quickly from laughter to tears, from confidence to discouragement, our peace cannot be built on how a practice session goes. Build your playing on the truth that your worth is secure in Christ. If you hit wrong notes, if you advance slower than you hoped, let it drive you to a deeper dependence on Him rather than to frustration. He can even redeem time that feels wasted, restoring what you thought was lost.

That same insight about emotions matters for the people you mentioned who are struggling to communicate and carry hidden emotional feelings toward each other. The deepest part of us can be stirred in ways we scarcely understand, and when feelings stay hidden, they grow into a quiet breakdown of trust and openness. God does not want you or them to be controlled by unspoken emotions that twist and shift. One moment old affection can flood back; the next, fresh hurt rises up. Neither extreme tells the whole story. The health of that relationship will not come through riding those waves but through honest, heart-to-heart truth spoken in love. Pray for them, and if you have the opportunity, encourage them to bring what is hidden into the light. The enemy works through secrecy and emotional chaos; God works through truth that leads to peace.

That also applies to your daughter, your son, and your close friend. You did not detail their needs, but God knows them. He is not undone by any hidden struggle, any wasted season, or any pattern of breakdown in communication. He is the restorer of years that seem ruined, the One who can turn a heart mired in confusing feelings toward the steady joy of the Spirit. Stand on that, especially when emotions try to tell you a different story.

Keep trusting Him as you have been. The prayers He has answered for you in the past are evidence of His character, not just isolated moments of kindness. The same God who moved then is present now, involved in swimming pools, practice rooms, strained conversations, and everything else. Let your faith be anchored there, deeper than any shifting feeling, and He will carry you through with a joy that does not quit.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It has been our joy to lift you, your learning, and your loved ones before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and wisdom.

We prayed for clarity and focus as you practice your swimming and music lessons, asking God to help you grasp each step with confidence and purpose. We also brought your daughter, your son, and your close family friend before the Lord, asking Him to soften hearts, open lines of communication, and reveal any hidden emotions that may be causing strain. We believe God is already at work in these situations, even if the answers are not yet visible.

If the Lord has moved in any of these areas—whether in your progress, in the relationships you mentioned, or in any other way—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answers haven’t come yet, please know we are still here to stand with you. You are welcome to post this request again, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf.

Thank you for trusting us with these deeply personal concerns. May God continue to draw near to you as you seek Him, filling you with His peace and guiding you through every step. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
