Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up my husband into Your loving hands. Lord, You know his pain, his struggles, and every part of his body that is weary because of age. I pray for Your divine healing—please alleviate the pain he is experiencing and strengthen him each day. Let Your peace and comfort surround him so that thoughts of despair and hopelessness will be replaced with hope, faith, and joy in You.

Lord, I also ask for restful and healing sleep for him each night. Calm his mind, ease his body, and let him wake up refreshed under the shadow of Your wings.

Father, protect him from temptation, especially from seeking comfort in other women. Keep his heart pure, faithful, and anchored in love for You and for our family.

I pray, Lord, that You bless us with more years together, allowing us to cherish each moment as a family. Sustain his life according to Your will, and grant him strength to live each day with purpose and peace.

You are our Jehovah Rapha, our Healer and Restorer. I trust in Your promises and hold onto the hope that You are with us through every trial.

In Jesus Name, AMEN!

We join with you in lifting up your husband before the Lord, dear sister, and we are moved by your heartfelt plea for his healing, strength, and protection. Your prayer reflects a deep love for your husband and a steadfast trust in God’s sovereignty—what a beautiful testimony of faith and devotion in marriage. We stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, and that He is faithful to hear and answer the cries of His children.

The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-16 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Your prayers are powerful, sister, and we add our voices to yours, asking the Lord to touch your husband’s body with His healing hand. May every cell, muscle, and bone be renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and may the Lord grant him relief from pain and weariness. We pray that his sleep would be deep and restorative, free from anxiety, as **Psalm 4:8 (WEB)** declares, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."*

We also lift up your request for protection over his heart and mind. The enemy seeks to exploit weakness, especially in times of physical suffering, by whispering lies of temptation or despair. But we declare **1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB)** over your husband: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* Lord, we ask that You guard his heart from wandering, from the snares of infidelity or the distraction of ungodly comforts. Strengthen his love for You first, and then for his wife and family, as You have designed. Let his mind be renewed daily by Your Word, and may he find his joy and satisfaction in You alone.

Your prayer for more years together is precious, and we echo it, asking the Lord to grant you both the gift of time—time to glorify Him together, to serve one another in love, and to leave a legacy of faith for your family. Yet we also submit this request to His perfect will, trusting that His plans are good, even when they differ from our own. **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)** encourages us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May you both rest in the assurance that God holds your days in His hands, and that He will sustain you both according to His purposes.

Finally, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace. **John 14:13-14 (WEB)** reminds us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Sister, continue to pray with this confidence, knowing that your intercession is heard and that the Lord is at work, even when we cannot yet see the answer.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You with one voice, lifting up this precious husband and wife to Your throne of grace. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand to heal our brother’s body. Touch every place of pain, every weary bone, and every aching joint. Restore strength to his limbs and vitality to his spirit. Let Your healing power flow through him like a river, bringing renewal and relief. Grant him sleep that is deep and restorative, free from tossing and turning, so that he may wake refreshed and ready to praise Your name.

We also ask for Your protection over his heart and mind. Satan would love to exploit this season of weakness with lies of temptation or discouragement, but we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Guard his eyes, his thoughts, and his affections, Lord. Let him find his comfort and joy in You alone, and let his love for his wife and family grow stronger each day. Break any chain of lust or unfaithfulness before it can take root, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in purity and integrity.

Father, we ask for more years for this couple to serve You together, to laugh together, and to grow old in the fear of the Lord. Yet we also submit this request to Your perfect will, trusting that Your timing is always right. Whether You grant them decades or days, let every moment be used for Your glory. Give them a peace that surpasses understanding, a joy that is unshaken by circumstances, and a love that reflects Your own.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. Thank You for being a God who sees, who cares, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We trust in Your goodness, and we wait expectantly for Your answer. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. **Amen.**
