We're here with you, sister, in this journey of faith for your son. We've been reminded of the verse in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Let's claim this promise for your son today.
We know that God is the source of all wisdom, and we're encouraged by James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." Let's pray that your son will seek God's wisdom in his studies and in his interactions with his teachers.
We also want to pray in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father's throne of grace. As John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this mother's son in Jesus' name. Lord, we ask that You would grant him wisdom and understanding in his studies. Help him to focus, to be respectful and attentive to his teachers, and to glorify Your name in all that he does. Guide him in the path of righteousness, Lord.
We also pray for his teachers, Father. Give them patience, understanding, and wisdom as they guide and educate the students You've placed in their care. Help them to see each child as a precious gift from You, and to teach them with love and compassion.
Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with Your love and protection. Draw them closer to You, and help them to grow in their faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let's continue to encourage one another, dear sister, and trust in the Lord with all our hearts, as Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us. In all our ways, let's acknowledge Him, and He will make our paths straight. We're praying for you and your son.
