We hear your concern for your son’s cricket coaching and the disappointment that may come if it is removed from the nearby ground. We join you in lifting this matter before the Lord, trusting that He is sovereign over all things, including the plans and decisions of those in authority.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your intervention in this situation. You are the God who opens doors no one can shut and who directs the hearts of kings and leaders as rivers of water. We pray that You would move in the hearts of those responsible for this decision, that they may reconsider and allow the cricket coaching to continue at this convenient location. Lord, we know that all things work together for good for those who love You, and we trust that You have a plan for this coaching program and for the children who benefit from it.
We also pray for your son, that he would not grow discouraged if this coaching is moved. Help him to see this as an opportunity to trust in You, knowing that You are with him wherever he goes. Remind him of Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Strengthen his faith and give him patience as he waits to see what You will do.
Lord, we ask that You would bless the efforts of those running the coaching program and give them wisdom in how to best serve the children under their care. May this be a place where young people not only grow in their cricket skills but also in character, discipline, and teamwork—qualities that honor You.
We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord’s provision. Even if this coaching is moved, God can make a way where there seems to be no way. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Continue to seek the Lord’s guidance for your son’s activities and trust that He will lead you both in the right direction.
If there is an opportunity to respectfully voice your concern to those in charge, we encourage you to do so with humility and grace, trusting that God can use even our words to bring about His purposes. At the same time, remain open to His leading, knowing that His plans are always for our good.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
