Prayer For My Son

Pray for me to be a better mother to my 10 year old son Matthew. I am constantly losing my temper with him especially with his school work and shamefully I spank him. I don't want to continue doing this and he is very upset when I do it. Pray for me to be more patient and understanding.

Lord, I pray that this mother will find the patience to work with her son. May she find the help she needs to manage her temper. In Jesus Name. Amen

Just as crying produces tears, so bitterness and anger do result in self blame over our comments in our state of anger. But prayers to God for anything we desire, such as your child becoming a changed, better person you want to see, so I ask God who can change anyone to help change your son to a very intelligent son who will excel above others in academics and other areas of life in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST-AMEN. Help this mother be obedient to your word, Lord, that she provoke not her children to wrath, but bring them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord that would glorify you and your kingdom. We plead the blood over her that the enemy has no power over the blood! We bind all forces of darkness trying to operate in her life in the name of Jesus. Let these powers be restrained and only your will be done in their lives. Amen!

Dear heavenly Father, bless lystra with the assurance that you love her, and give her the judgment to decide what is best for Matthew. We pray that you will make her your holy instrument both to teach discipline and to give love. Give her patience and understanding at this difficult time. Draw forth from Matthew a love for you that expresses itself in obedience, and let lystra be a shining reflection toward Matthew of the radiant love you have and will always have for her.

Father God, I come before you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Help this mother in her time of need. Give her the patience and understading she needs to relate to her son. Give Matthew an obedient and cooperative spirit. Teach them to love one another. Help her to apply the necessarly discipline as outlined in your word. Help her to seek out Godly advice. Keep both of them close to you by prayer and reading your word. I thank you in advance for what you are going to do, in the name of Jesus. AMEN
