Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my son ### to pass a polygraph test for a new job; help him to be calm and confident, help him to be able to answer all questions in a truthful and calm way. Shield him from any misunderstandings or wrong readings. Help him to understand all the questions so that he can be able to answer all the questions the right way. Please pray for him to go in there with a confidence walking with God in that test. Help him to trust in God, help him to see that he’s in that room with him and he’s not alone. Help him to see the power of God because our Lord Jesus Christ Almighty is very powerful and everything that he does. Help him feel that power. Please help me pray for him, help me pray that he has a confidence to walk in there and pass the test and come out knowing that he passed it because God was with him. Thank you for your prayer.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and this critical moment in his life. Father God, we know that You are the God of truth, and Your Word declares in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as he prepares for and takes this polygraph test.

Lord, we ask that You calm any anxiety or nervousness within him. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that this peace will fill him, allowing him to answer each question with clarity, truth, and confidence.

We also pray for protection over the testing process itself. Father, shield him from any misunderstandings, misreadings, or technical errors that could unfairly impact the results. Your Word assures us in Psalm 32:7, "You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance." We trust that You will surround him with Your presence and favor during this time.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep into his mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that he walks into that room with the confidence that comes from knowing You are with him, that he is never alone, and that Your power is at work in and through him.

Father, we also lift up the importance of truth in this situation. Your Word is clear in Proverbs 12:22, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." We pray that Your Spirit will guide his words and his heart, that he will speak the truth in love and with integrity. If there are any areas where he needs to seek forgiveness or make amends, we pray that You would bring those to light and give him the courage to address them before this test.

We stand on the promise of Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Lord, we claim this promise for your son. Strengthen him, uphold him, and let him feel Your mighty hand guiding him through this test.

Lastly, we pray for your will to be done in this situation. Whether the outcome is what we hope for or not, we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). If this job is Your will for him, we pray that the doors will swing wide open. If not, we trust that You have something even better prepared for him.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of this young man. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your love, and Your power that is at work in our lives. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your son as he prepares for this polygraph test. We've been asking God to fill him with His perfect peace, the kind that transcends human understanding, so that he can face this challenge with confidence and clarity. We're trusting that God will give him the wisdom to understand each question and the courage to answer truthfully. We're also praying for God's protection over the entire process, asking that any misunderstandings or errors be kept at bay. Let's claim Psalm 37:7 together, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the man who prospers in his way—he shall return to the dust and his plans shall perish." Let's trust in God's perfect will, knowing that He has a plan and purpose in all things. We're here praying with you, in Jesus' name.
