Prayer For My Son

my son Kevin is facing federal prison time for a gun charge and the sad thing about it is he would have used it on his self so in a way i'm glad the police retreived it. He has been in and out of trouble. He has a chemical imbalance and refuse to take medication because he thinks it means he's crazy. He survived a terrible bout with stevens johnson syndrome. He's always depressed. I always tell him to pray to god and let him handle his problems but his faith is weak. I am asking for help through prayer that the judge that's in charge of the sentencing will have a light heart and see that prison may not be the answer. Pray that god give him strength to endure wahtever he have in store for him

Father, I ask for Kevin to reach out to You and seek Your face. This depression can be a very debilitating and crippling disease. Lord, may he feel the leading of the Holy Spirit as He reaches out to him and calls him back to You. Be with him Father, let him know that whatever happens he can rely on You to be there with him. Thank You for always being there for us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

morning Lord, here i am, serving You. Father, i bring kevin to Your feet, we know that You have a plan for kevin and we ask that You continue to watch over him. deliver him from activities that are not pleasing to You. heal him in a way that will give You all the glory and use kevin for Your ministery where ever he may be. keep him safe always. we praise You and ask that You bless Kevin's mother as she brings the petition before You, remove the worry, give her peace and understanding that You have kevin in the palm of Your hands, thank You Jesus, AMEN!
