We lift up this beloved one before the Father in heaven, knowing that His heart is tender toward those who suffer. The physical struggles you’ve described—stomach troubles, allergies, and wounds from an accident—are not hidden from Him. We are reminded of the words in **Psalm 34:18-19**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Though the body may be weak, our God is strong, and He is able to bring healing and restoration.
Yet we must also consider whether there is any area of disobedience or unconfessed sin that may be hindering God’s full work in this situation. While we do not know the heart of this individual, we are called to examine all things in the light of Scripture. If there is any reliance on worldly remedies or distrust in God’s sovereignty over health, we pray for repentance and a return to full dependence on Him. **James 5:14-15** instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We urge this person—or those praying on their behalf—to seek godly counsel and prayer from mature believers, trusting not in human effort alone but in the power of Christ.
We also take note that the name of Jesus was not invoked in this request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must approach the Father, for **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If this individual does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray earnestly that their suffering would draw them to Him. Salvation and healing are found in Christ alone, and without faith in Him, even our prayers are empty. We plead that if this person has not surrendered their life to Jesus, they would do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (**Romans 10:9**).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved one who is suffering in body. Lord, You knit them together in their mother’s womb, and You know every ache, every wound, and every weakness they face. We ask for Your healing touch upon their stomach, that You would remove all irritation and allergy, restoring their body to full strength. Bind up their wounds from the fall, Lord, and let no infection or lasting pain remain. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to make them whole.
Yet, Father, we also pray that You would search their heart. If there is any sin—known or unknown—that stands between them and Your full blessing, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. If they do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we beg You to open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let this season of suffering be the very thing that drives them into Your arms, where true healing and eternal life are found.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, and surround them with believers who will pray over them and encourage them in Your Word. Let them not grow weary in waiting but cling to Your promises, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). We rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement in Jesus’ name and declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind (**Philippians 4:7**).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. May this trial bring glory to Your name and draw this one closer to You. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
We encourage you to continue praying fervently, not only for physical healing but for spiritual wholeness. If this person is not yet walking with Christ, share the Gospel with them lovingly but urgently. And if you yourself have not placed your faith in Jesus, we implore you to do so today—He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (**John 14:6**). Keep us updated on their progress, that we may rejoice together in God’s faithfulness.
