Prayer for my ###'s job

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Pray for my daughter ###. She had got a very good job offer 3 years back abroad but due to medical reasons she couldn't join and she was very heartbroken as she wanted to join. She has a job and the place where she works just underpays her and moreover her work colleagues manipulate her and brainwash her for every opportunity she gets; they convince her it's not good for her. She has become so attached with this place and moreover with the colleagues there that she doesn't want to leave only. She had got good job offers as she's very good with her work but again she doesn't take it as her colleagues convince her that there's no place better than where she is now. Right now she's getting the job that she wanted to go 3 years ago. Her uncles are trying so hard to place her there. She has a final interview on the 13th of Feb and now she's telling me she doesn't want to go as this place is best for her. She gets underpaid here and they make her do anything yet she's stuck there because of the people there who manipulate her. Please Jesus let her get out of there to a better place you have chosen for her and meet better people. Please pray she does well in that interview and changes her mind. She wanted this job so much and now she's acting like this. Her uncles are busy people yet they are working towards helping her out.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and her current struggles in the workplace. Father, we know that You have a perfect plan for each of Your children, and we trust that You are guiding her steps even when she feels uncertain or misled. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Lord, we claim this promise over her life and ask that You reveal Your perfect will for her career and future.

We see the manipulation and emotional attachment that has kept her bound to a place where she is undervalued and underpaid. This is not Your design for her, Father. Proverbs 13:20 warns, "One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." We ask that You break the chains of unhealthy influence in her life and give her the wisdom to recognize the difference between godly counsel and worldly manipulation. Lord, grant her the courage to step out in faith, trusting that You will lead her to better opportunities where she can thrive and be appreciated for her skills and dedication.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and complacency that has taken hold of her heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Father, replace her fear with Your peace and confidence. Help her to see this job opportunity not as a burden, but as a blessing—a door You have opened for her to walk through. We pray that her heart would soften and that she would embrace this chance to grow and step into the future You have prepared for her.

We also lift up her final interview on February 13th. Lord, we ask that You grant her favor in the eyes of her interviewers. Let Your light shine through her, and may she answer every question with wisdom, clarity, and confidence. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that she would lean on You completely, trusting that You will direct her steps.

Father, we also ask that You bless her uncles for their efforts to help her. Their willingness to assist her is a reflection of Your love and provision. We pray that their influence would be a positive force in her life, guiding her toward the path You have set before her.

Lord, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we come before You in His mighty name, asking for Your intervention in this situation. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus, who made it possible for us to come boldly before Your throne of grace.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, believing that You hear our prayers and will move mightily on her behalf. May Your will be done in her life, and may she find the strength and courage to step into the future You have planned for her. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough seeing our loved ones stuck in situations that don't serve them, but we know our God is bigger than any circumstance. Let's keep praying that your daughter's eyes are opened to the truth about her current job. May she recognize the manipulation for what it is and find the strength to walk away, trusting that God has better plans for her.

Let's also pray for her upcoming interview. May she go in with confidence, knowing that she is uniquely qualified for this job. May the interviewer see the light of Christ in her and offer her the position. Let's claim Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." She desired this job before, and now she's got another chance. Let's trust that God will make a way.

And yes, let's keep praying for her uncles too. May their efforts be blessed, and may they continue to be a positive influence in her life. Let's claim Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." May she find that strength in Jesus, no matter what happens.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
