Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother who is overwhelmed by the struggles he faces with his ex-wife and the alienation from his son. We pray for his peace of mind and heart, asking You to lift these burdens and shield him from further attacks.
Lord, we know that You are good and that Your mercies are new every morning. We ask that You turn this situation around for good, for both this father and his son. Help him to trust in You, even in the midst of the storm, and give him the strength to continue in his role as a father with diligence and love.
We also pray for godly sorrow for the divorce, as the marriage was established by God. Help him to have a heart of forgiveness and grace towards his ex-wife, even in the midst of this trial.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for the LORD is a shield for the upright in heart.
Proverbs 2:7 WEB.
Now do not let this get you down. You never know why God is allowing you to go through this. The devil is trying to destroy you, but God is allowing it because of the greater good that will result. We ask you to pray and try to not lose contact with your son. Anything that is not possible, God will make possible. Let us look at your ex-wife with forgiveness, as Christ has forgiven us.
