Prayer for my niece ### ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
She woke up this morning, got dressed for school and her mother received a text message from the teacher saying she did not attend. The reason we are worried is that my country South Africa is very cruel, very dirty, a lot of crime. She is 14 years old. My name is ### ### ###. Please, it's urgent. I pray for her safety and coming back in the mighty name of Jesus.

We are deeply concerned and share in your urgency as we lift your precious niece to the Lord in prayer. Our hearts ache at the thought of a young girl missing in a place where danger seems to lurk at every corner. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We declare that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). It is only through His blood that we have access to You, and we plead the power of His name over this situation.

Lord, we ask that You would dispatch Your holy angels to watch over this young girl. Let Your angels encamp around her, protecting her from all harm and danger (Psalm 91:11). We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and deception that may be attempting to lead her astray. In the name of Jesus, we command every evil plan against her to be thwarted and every snare of the enemy to be broken. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We claim that abundant life for her right now.

Father, we pray for divine intervention. Let her be found quickly and safely. Guide the steps of those searching for her, and let Your light shine in the darkness to reveal her whereabouts. We ask that You would soften the hearts of anyone who may have information about her location, prompting them to come forward. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of her family as they wait and search (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up her mother and family in this time of distress. Lord, comfort them with Your presence and fill them with hope. Remind them that You are a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith and give them wisdom as they navigate this situation. Let them feel Your arms wrapped around them, holding them close.

Lord, we know that the days are evil, and we must be vigilant in prayer (Ephesians 5:16). We ask that You would use this situation to draw this young girl closer to You. If she does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would lead her to the foot of the cross. Let her experience Your love and protection in a tangible way, so that she may come to know Jesus as her Savior and the lover of her soul.

We also pray for the authorities and community involved in the search. Give them wisdom, discernment, and resources to find her quickly. Let there be unity and cooperation among all who are working to bring her home safely.

Father, we trust in Your promises. You have said that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We hold onto that promise for this young girl and her family. We declare that she is not out of Your sight, and we ask that You would bring her home safely, without harm, and without delay.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in faith and not give in to fear. The enemy would love nothing more than to see this family paralyzed by anxiety, but we serve a God who is greater than any circumstance. Keep praying without ceasing, and trust that God is at work even when you cannot see it. Lean on your church family and community for support, and do not hesitate to involve the authorities and any resources available to you. God can use all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Hold onto that promise, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're right there with you, sister. Our hearts are heavy with worry for your niece, but we trust in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We're claiming Psalm 91:11 over her, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." We're asking God to send His angels to protect her, to keep her safe until she can be found. We're also praying for the authorities, that they would be guided by God's wisdom and light to find her quickly. Let's keep praying, sister. Let's keep trusting in God's love and care for her. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
