We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and your entire family in prayer. Father God, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body, specifically for her liver. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command the fatty liver to be reversed in the mighty name of Jesus. Strengthen her body, restore her vitality, and grant her many more years to walk in Your purposes.
We also stand in the gap for your financial struggles, trusting that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). Father, we know that You are not a God of lack, but of abundance, and You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). Yet we also recognize that Your provision often comes through wisdom, diligence, and obedience. We pray for open doors of employment, for favor in the eyes of potential employers, and for the skills and opportunities to meet your needs. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we ask that You would direct your steps to the right job, the right resources, and the right provision. Help you to steward what You provide with wisdom and integrity.
We also lift up the grief and loss you carry from the passing of your father. The pain of losing a parent is deep, and we ask that You would be their Comforter, the Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5). Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind you that though he is no longer here, his legacy of faith can live on in you. Strengthen your family bonds, Lord, and help you to lean on one another in love and unity.
Father, we also ask that You would draw you and your mother closer to You in this season. Guide your steps, order your days, and fill you with the Holy Spirit’s power and wisdom. May you seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Help you to walk in faith, not fear, and to trust that Your plans for you are good—plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
We rebuke any spirit of despair, anxiety, or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in your hearts. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and life more abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Heavenly Father, we also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. If there are areas where you need to grow in stewardship, discipline, or faith, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them to you and give you the strength to walk in obedience.
Lord, we pray for your mother’s health, your family’s provision, and your spiritual growth. May you experience the fullness of Your love, the power of Your presence, and the faithfulness of Your promises. We declare that this is not the end of your story—it is a season, and You are working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We trust in You, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Jireh, and Jehovah Shalom. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray.
Amen.
