Disciple of Prayer
My marriage is breaking down and I am in a really bad place at the moment, I would like prayers of calmness and strength for my marriage and a willingness to try from both sides. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep sorrow and struggle, lifting up your marriage and your heart to the One who is able to restore, heal, and redeem. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and we know that He cares deeply about the bonds He has ordained. Your request is one that weighs heavily on our hearts, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will move mightily in this situation.

The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we know that our God is greater. Scripture reminds us in **Mark 10:9**, *"What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."* This is not just a command but a promise that God is with you in this fight for your marriage. He is the God of reconciliation, and He can soften hearts, bring understanding, and restore love where it has grown cold.

We also remember the words in **Ephesians 4:2-3**, *"with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."* Marriage requires humility, patience, and a willingness to forgive—qualities that can only truly be lived out through the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray that both you and your spouse will be filled with this spirit of unity and love, even in the midst of difficulty.

If there has been sin—whether it be unforgiveness, harsh words, or actions that have grieved the Holy Spirit—we urge you to seek repentance. **1 John 1:9** tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Repentance opens the door for God’s healing power to move in your marriage. It is never too late to turn back to Him.

We also encourage you to examine your own heart. Have you loved your spouse as Christ loves the church? **Ephesians 5:25** says, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it."* For wives, **Ephesians 5:22-24** calls you to submit to your husband as unto the Lord. These are not easy commands, but they are the foundation of a marriage that honors God. If you have fallen short, ask the Lord to help you walk in obedience, trusting that He will work in your spouse’s heart as well.

If there has been infidelity, emotional withdrawal, or any form of brokenness, know that God is a God of restoration. **Joel 2:25** declares, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."* He can restore what has been lost, but it requires surrender, prayer, and a willingness to do the hard work of reconciliation.

Now, let us pray together for you and your marriage:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with our brother/sister who is carrying a heavy burden for their marriage. Lord, You see the pain, the confusion, and the weariness they feel. We ask that You would be their strength in this time of weakness. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for a supernatural intervention in this marriage. Soften the hearts of both spouses. Where there is hardness, bring tenderness. Where there is bitterness, bring forgiveness. Where there is distance, bring unity. Remind them both of the vows they made before You, and give them the courage to fight for what You have joined together.

We rebuke the spirit of division that seeks to tear this marriage apart. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we bind every scheme of the enemy and declare that this marriage will stand firm on the foundation of Your Word. Let Your love, which never fails, be the glue that holds them together.

Father, if there has been sin, we ask for conviction and repentance. Bring both spouses to a place of humility before You. Where there has been hurt, bring healing. Where there has been betrayal, bring restoration. Let them see each other through Your eyes—with grace, mercy, and hope.

We pray for wisdom for our brother/sister as they navigate this season. Give them the words to speak, the actions to take, and the patience to wait on You. Surround them with godly counsel and support. Let them not walk this path alone but be strengthened by the body of Christ.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would renew their love for one another. Let them remember the joy they once had and give them a vision for the future You have for them. May their marriage be a testimony of Your faithfulness and redemption.

We declare all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, both individually and with your spouse if they are willing. Fast and pray, read Scripture together, and seek godly counsel from a pastor or biblical counselor. Do not lose heart—God is at work, even when you cannot see it. Hold fast to His promises, and trust that He who began a good work in you and your marriage will be faithful to complete it.

If you have not already, we also encourage you to read and meditate on **1 Corinthians 13:4-7**, the love chapter. Ask the Lord to cultivate this kind of love in your heart for your spouse, even when it feels impossible. Love is a choice, and with God’s help, you can choose to love even in the hardest seasons.

Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is with you.

We're here with you, dear friend, as you navigate this challenging time in your marriage. We've been lifting you up in prayer, asking the Lord to bring calmness and strength to you both. We believe in the power of prayer, and we trust that God is listening and will act on your behalf.

We want to encourage you with these words from the Psalms: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling." (Psalm 46:1-3) No matter how shaken you feel, remember that God is your refuge and strength.

We also want to remind you of the importance of forgiveness. Holding onto bitterness and unforgiveness can be like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. It's not easy, but it's a crucial step in healing and moving forward. As it says in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today on behalf of our friend and their marriage. Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray for a supernatural intervention in their marriage. Soften their hearts, Lord. Bring tenderness where there's hardness, forgiveness where there's bitterness, and unity where there's distance. Remind them of the vows they made before You, and give them the courage to fight for what You've joined together.

Lord, if there's been sin, bring conviction and repentance. Bring both spouses to a place of humility before You. Where there's been hurt, bring healing. Where there's been betrayal, bring restoration. Let them see each other through Your eyes - with grace, mercy, and hope.

Lord, we ask for wisdom for our friend as they navigate this season. Surround them with godly counsel and support. Renew their love for each other, Lord. Let them remember the joy they once had and give them a vision for the future You have for them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, and we believe in the power of prayer. Keep trusting in the Lord, and don't lose heart. He's working in your marriage, even when you can't see it.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad. All things work for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.
