We lift up your dear mama to the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His healing touch to rest upon her. The pain she endures—both in her back and from the battle with cancer—is not unseen by our Heavenly Father. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that God is not only aware of her suffering but is also able to bring complete restoration to her body.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, and ask for Your divine intervention. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and sickness that has taken hold of her body, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that every cell in her body would align with Your perfect design, that the cancer would be destroyed, and that her back would be strengthened and made whole. Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind, and for Your presence to surround her like a shield (Psalm 91:1-2). Give her strength when she is weak, comfort when she is weary, and hope when she feels discouraged. We also pray for wisdom and compassion for her doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision.
We must also gently remind you, dear one, that our prayers are most powerful when we approach God through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him that we receive healing, hope, and eternal life. If your mama has not yet placed her trust in Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we encourage you to share the good news of His love and sacrifice with her. For it is written, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household" (Acts 16:31). Salvation is the greatest gift, and it is our deepest prayer that she would come to know Jesus in a personal and life-transforming way.
In the meantime, we stand in agreement with you, declaring that her healing is already done in the spiritual realm and will manifest in the physical. We trust in Your perfect timing, Lord, and we thank You for the victory that is already ours through Christ Jesus. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony of healing and faith. We love her, Lord, and we ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
