Prayer for my life

Good day i need prayer for my daughter she is in a abusive relationship, her husband is a gangster and now her life is in danger from other gangsters they want to kill her and her baby

We hear the anguish in your heart for your daughter and your grandchild and we join with you in lifting them up before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. We are deeply grieved to hear that your daughter is in an abusive relationship and that her life and the life of her baby are in danger from violent men. This is not the design God has for marriage or for family.

God ordained marriage to be a holy covenant between a man and a woman, a lifelong commitment where a husband loves his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her, Ephesians 5:25, and where both dwell together in love and protection. Violence, abuse, and a life of gangsterism are completely contrary to God's will. The Lord says that he hates violence, Psalm 11:5, and that husbands must love their wives and not be bitter against them, Colossians 3:19. We rebuke the violence and the evil that is threatening your daughter and her child, and we pray that every plan to harm them would be exposed and thwarted by the hand of God.

We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by calling on the name of Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard, Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13. We encourage you and your daughter to put your complete trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for He alone is our deliverer.

We pray together for your precious daughter and her baby.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift up this daughter and her baby to You. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. We ask that You would be a wall of fire around them and that You would hide them under the shadow of Your wings, Psalm 91:1, Psalm 91:11. Command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways. Frustrate every evil intent of those who seek to kill them and let no weapon that is formed against them prosper, Isaiah 54:17. Give them a way of escape and lead them to safety.

Lord, we pray for wisdom and courage for this mother and daughter to take immediate steps for safety. We ask You to guide them to godly counsel, to pastors and to the proper authorities who can provide protection. Your Word says the prudent see danger and take refuge, Proverbs 22:3, and we pray they will not remain in a place of danger but will seek a safe shelter, whether with family, a church, or a safe house, and that the police and law enforcement would act swiftly to protect them. Give the mother wisdom to support her daughter without putting herself in danger.

Father, we also pray for this husband who is living as a gangster. We rebuke that life of sin, violence and lawlessness, and we pray for his repentance. We know that You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. Break his heart, convict him of his sin, and bring him to salvation in Jesus Christ, that he may be transformed and no longer walk in violence. We pray also for the other gangsters who are threatening this family, that their hearts would be changed and their evil plans brought to nothing. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We pray for healing for your daughter from the trauma of abuse. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit, Psalm 34:18. May she feel Your nearness, Your comfort and Your peace that surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7. Protect that innocent baby, for You said let the little children come to me, Matthew 19:14, and You have a special care for the little ones.

We encourage you to continue to intercede without ceasing, to stay in close contact with your daughter, to urge her to seek help immediately and not to remain isolated. Help her to document what is happening and to reach out to trusted Christian leaders and to authorities for protection. Encourage her to remain in prayer and in the Word, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and He promises, Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, Isaiah 41:10.

We stand with you believing that God is able to deliver them from this present danger and to bring restoration. We trust that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. Keep praying in the name of Jesus, for there is power in that name, and keep seeking safety and godly help without delay.

We were so burdened to read about your daughter and your grandchild facing such danger. Because their lives have been threatened, please put safety first. If you or they are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com, which lists helplines in about 130 countries. You are not alone and trained people are ready to help right now.

We can only imagine the weight you carry as a parent watching this unfold and feeling helpless to stop it. It makes sense you would reach out for prayer. Please know we are standing with you in prayer and we also encourage you to reach for practical help alongside prayer.

When threats and abuse are involved, the safest step is to get guidance from professionals who understand domestic violence and personal safety. If you can, help your daughter connect with a local shelter, advocacy service, or trusted authorities who can help make a safety plan for her and the baby without you having to confront her husband or others directly. Stay in close contact with safe family or community support, and keep your own safety in mind as you help them.

Father, we bring this mother, her daughter and this precious baby before You. We ask for Your protection over them, for wisdom for every decision, and for safe people and safe places to surround them. Give this mother strength and peace as she loves her family through fear, and lead them to the help they need. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Hebrews 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Psalm 37:40 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Deuteronomy 20:4 For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Proverbs 16:7 When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Psalm 37:1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

Psalm 97:10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Jeremiah 39:18 For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the Lord.

2 Kings 17:39 But the Lord your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.

Luke 1:71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us.

Your sorrowful request has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the anguish of a parent's heart for a daughter and for her little child whose lives are beset with violence and fear.

We do not speak lightly of such peril. The Lord knows the cruelty of ungodly men and the terror that comes when sin reigns in a household. Yet we are assured from Scripture that deliverance is of the Lord, and that He alone can bring forth His people when they are held fast. As Israel was held captive until the lamb was slain, and yet He brought them forth with His own hand, so there is no pit so deep, no enemy so bloodthirsty, that His arm cannot reach and save. He has found a ransom in the blood of His own Son, and by that ransom He delivers sinners from going down to the pit.

We will pray earnestly for your daughter and her baby, that the Lord in His mercy would set a hedge about them and hide them from the violence that threatens them. We will pray that He would make a way of escape where no way appears, that He would frustrate the designs of violent men, and that He would move the hearts of those in authority to protect the innocent. We will pray also for the husband, that if he be given space for repentance, the Lord would convict him of his sin and bring him to the feet of Jesus Christ, for there is no salvation in any other, and no true deliverance from the power of darkness except through Him alone. Without Christ, no man can be saved, and without His grace no heart can be changed.

Take comfort that the Lord hears the cry of the afflicted. He has chastened many sorely, yet He has not given them over unto death, that they might live and declare the works of the Lord. May it be so for your daughter and her child, that they shall yet live to tell of great deliverance.

We entreat you, as you wait upon the Lord, to seek also the means which He ordinarily uses for protection. Let your daughter be removed, if it be possible, from the place of danger into a place of safety among faithful Christian people. Seek the help of godly pastors and of those appointed to restrain evil and keep the peace, that wisdom and lawful protection may be afforded without delay. Do not face this peril alone, but let the church of God stand with you and watch with you in prayer.

Let us pray together.

O Lord God Almighty, Thou who art a refuge in time of trouble, look in tender pity upon this daughter and her infant. Thou seest the snares laid for them and the violence that surrounds them. Deliver them from going down to the pit, for Thou hast found a ransom. Cover them under the shadow of Thy wings, keep them from the hand of the cruel, and bring them forth to safety as Thou didst bring Israel forth of old. Turn, we beseech Thee, the heart of the husband from his evil way, or restrain his hand, that he may no more do violence, but may be brought to repentance through Jesus Christ our Lord. Give to this sorrowing parent peace that passeth understanding, composure of mind and freedom from alarm, trusting wholly in Thy faithful care. Hear us, O Father, for the sake of Thy Son who bore our sins and who alone is our salvation. Amen.

We will continue to bear you and your loved ones before the throne of grace, that the God of all deliverance would show Himself strong on your behalf, and that you may yet have cause to sing of His goodness with a jubilant song.
