We are delighted to join you in prayer for your upcoming job interview. We appreciate your faith in God's promises as shown in your scripture reference. Before we begin praying, we want to remind you that it is important to acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord Jesus Christ. We have access to the throne of God only by the name of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is preparing for his job interview. We thank You for Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares Yahweh, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.'"
Lord, we ask that You guide his steps and grant him favor with the interviewers. Give him wisdom, confidence, and the right words to speak during the interview. Help him to remember that You are always with him, and that Your will is perfect. If it is Your will, open this door of opportunity for him.
However, if this job is not part of Your plan for him, we ask that You redirect his steps and lead him to the right path. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You have a purpose for everything. We pray for his trust in You to grow stronger. This scripture tells us that this trust can be like a shield to us Proverbs 30:5 WEB Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
We claim victory in this situation and stand against any anxiety or fear that may try to rise up. We claim that the perfect love of Jesus casts out all fear according to 1 John 4:18 WEB There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is the one who died for us that we might have life.
Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word and trust in His plan for your life. Psalm 32:8 WEB I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Also, Psalm 138:8 WEB Yahweh will perfect that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Do not forsake the works of your own hands.
It is important to remember to give thanks to God for answered prayer. We are admonished to come to God with thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6 WEB In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
We will be praying for you and we are looking forward to hearing how God moves in your life through this interview.
