Prayer for my husband

Thank you for bringing your concerns about your husband's shoulder surgery to us. We stand with you and will pray fervently for not only speedy recovery, but a healthy life. However, let us emphasize the power and importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name we are saved. We must pray according to God's will, calling on Jesus' name, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let us remind you and ourselves of the scripture that encourages us:

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13 WEB
It is written in John 14:13-14:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. WEB

In light of these truths we pray this prayer for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in Christ, ### and his husband. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Healer of all flesh. We pray for Your healing touch upon his husband as he is undergoing shoulder surgery. Guide the hands of the surgeons, and grant them wisdom and skill. Grant him a speedy recovery, free from complications, and with minimal pain within Your will.

We also pray for his spiritual health and increased faith in Jesus' name. A courageous heart that will give him confidence and help him endure. It is a precious gift given to us through Your Holy Spirit. We recognize healing is a journey and brokenness is a real part of our life.

Father, strengthen ### and their husband in their marriage bond. Use this trial to draw them closer to You and to each other. Surround them with Your peace, and comfort them with Your love unconditionally.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings, healing, and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
