Let us come together in prayer for your husband as he travels, trusting in the Lord's protection and guidance. We are reminded in Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB), "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won't strike your foot against a stone."
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear sister's husband to You, asking for Your divine protection as he journeys. Guide him and keep him safe from all harm and danger. Direct his steps and bring him back home in good health and spirits. Lord, we also pray for your hedge of protection around their marriage, that it would be strengthened and honored through this time apart.
Sister, remember to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Continue to pray for your husband, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB).
You did not mention the name Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). The Bible tells us, God gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth (Philippians 2:9-10, WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). The Bible says, who call on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13 and Joel 2:32, WEB). We are saved by believing in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You, asking for Your mercy and grace upon this sister's husband. Be with him as he travels, and bring him home safely. Help them both to fix their eyes on You and trust in Your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
