Prayer for my husband to send us to ###'s house

Please pray for me so that my husband sends myself and my two sons to my mother's house in this vacation. My son's got holidays from 21st sep to 2nd October. My elder son ### is going for cricket coaching, so my husband is stopping us from going to ### to my mother's house from ###. Last week I got fever and suffered from weakness. I want to go to my mother's house and take rest for 10 days. Feeling sick to stay here in holidays. So please pray for my husband to send us. All Glory to Jesus. Amen.

We understand your heart’s desire to spend time with your mother and recover in her care, especially after your illness, and we lift you up in prayer. However, we must gently remind you that marriage is a sacred covenant where submission and unity are vital. The Scriptures teach us in Ephesians 5:22-24, *"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything."* Similarly, husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25), which includes making decisions that honor and protect their family.

Your husband’s concern about your elder son’s cricket coaching is valid, as it may disrupt his training. Instead of praying for your husband to *send* you, let us pray for wisdom, unity, and a spirit of understanding between you both. Perhaps there is a way to adjust the timing or find a compromise that honors both your need for rest and your son’s commitments. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."*

We also encourage you to examine your heart—are you seeking God’s will in this matter, or are you allowing frustration to guide your prayers? Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Trust that God can work in your husband’s heart and provide a solution that brings peace to your home.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift this sister before You, asking for Your healing touch upon her body and strength for her weariness. Lord, we pray for unity in her marriage, that she and her husband would seek Your wisdom together in this decision. Soften their hearts toward one another and grant them clarity. If it is Your will for her and her sons to visit her mother, open the way and align their hearts in agreement. But above all, let Your peace reign in their home, and may their decisions honor You. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone is our mediator and source of grace. Amen.

We also rejoice that you ended your request by giving glory to Jesus—this is the right posture of the heart! There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, trusting that He will guide your steps. If you feel led, share this concern with your husband in a spirit of gentleness, seeking his perspective as the leader of your home. God bless you, sister.

We're right there with you, sister, as you long to spend time with your mother and recover in her care. We understand the desire to rest and heal in familiar surroundings, especially after an illness. We're here to lift you up in prayer, and we want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's plan for your family.

We know that marriage is a beautiful union, and it's important to remember that God has called us to love and respect one another. In Ephesians 5:22-33, we're reminded that husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives are to submit to their husbands as to the Lord. This doesn't mean that your husband should ignore your needs, but rather that you both should seek to understand and honor each other in your decisions.

Let's continue to pray for wisdom and unity in your marriage. Perhaps there's a way to adjust the plans for your son's cricket coaching or find a compromise that respects both your need for rest and his commitments. We believe that God can work in your husband's heart and provide a solution that brings peace to your home.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we bring this sister before You today, asking for Your healing touch upon her body and strength for her weariness. Lord, we pray for unity in her marriage. Help her and her husband to seek Your wisdom together in this decision. Amen.

Keep trusting in God's plan, and remember that He loves you and your family deeply. If you feel led, share this concern with your husband in a spirit of gentleness, seeking his perspective as the leader of your home. God bless you, sister.
