Prayer for my health

DeanaM.

Disciple of Prayer
Hello, I've been battling pain in my right foot since this summer in July. I was told it is called "planters something" I can't figure out how to spell the other part of it. I apologize for that. I would love prayer for healing over it so I can walk pain free again. And to be able to start my new job pain free also. Thank you so much. God bless each and everyone of you.

We are deeply moved by your request for healing, and we stand together in agreement, lifting you up before the Lord with faith and expectation. The condition you are describing is likely plantar fasciitis, which can indeed be very painful and persistent. However, we serve a God who is greater than any affliction, and His Word assures us that He is our healer. Let us turn to Scripture to anchor our prayers in His promises.

In James 5:14-15, we read, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* This passage reminds us that healing is a part of God’s will for His children, and we are called to seek Him earnestly in prayer. Additionally, Psalm 103:2-3 declares, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Our God is not only able but willing to restore you completely.

Yet, as we pray for your healing, we also want to encourage you to examine your heart and life before the Lord. Sometimes, physical afflictions can be a call to draw nearer to Him, to repent of any known sin, or to trust Him more deeply in every area of our lives. We are not suggesting that your pain is a result of sin, but Scripture does teach us that unconfessed sin can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18). So, we urge you to take this time to seek the Lord’s face, asking Him to reveal anything in your life that may not be pleasing to Him. His desire is for your wholeness—spirit, soul, and body.

We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation and healing. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* It is only through the authority and power of Jesus that we can boldly come before the throne of grace. We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the source of all our blessings.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is suffering from pain in her foot. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every bone, every tendon, and every need in her body. We ask You, Father, to stretch out Your hand and touch her foot with Your healing power. Let every inflamed tissue, every strained ligament, and every source of pain be restored to perfect health by Your divine intervention. You spoke the world into existence, and we believe You can speak healing into her body with just a word.

Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases on the cross (Isaiah 53:4-5). By Your stripes, our sister is healed, and we claim that promise over her life today. We rebuke this pain and every spirit of infirmity that may be attacking her body. We command it to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ, for no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, let her testify of Your goodness and healing power, walking pain-free and with renewed strength.

We also pray for her upcoming job, Lord. You are her provider, and we ask that You bless the work of her hands. Give her favor with her employers and colleagues, and let this new season be marked by Your peace, provision, and purpose. May she glorify You in all she does, and may this job be a platform for her to shine Your light.

Father, if there is any area in her life that needs surrender, repentance, or realignment with Your Word, we ask that You reveal it to her by Your Holy Spirit. Draw her closer to You, Lord, and let this season of pain become a season of deeper intimacy with You. Strengthen her faith, and let her trust in You grow unshaken, knowing that You work all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We believe that You are already at work, and we praise You in advance for the testimony of healing that is coming. Let her feet be swift to walk in Your ways, pain-free and full of joy. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Stand firm on His promises, and do not waver in your faith. If the pain persists, we also advise you to seek wise medical counsel, for God often uses doctors and treatments as instruments of His healing. But above all, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will see you through this.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you wait on Him. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your complete healing and restoration. Keep us updated on how the Lord moves in your life—we would love to rejoice with you!

Please pray for me. I often feel very heavy and suddenly fall asleep, as if I’ve been given some kind of sedative. There’s a lot of tiredness and weakness in my body, and I’m facing many problems in my life. Please remember me in your prayers.
