Prayer For My Family

Hello Brothers and Sisters of The Lord,

I'm coming here to ask for help in prayer for my family - My Grandmother Helen is facing a possible diagnosis of Lung Cancer - The Lord has already lifted the very ugly and heavy burden of pain from my family in ways we cannot even describe and has given us very clear minds and clear hearts through this - I ask the Lord to please ease her body no matter what the diagnosis is(It could be Emphesema) and to give her peace and healing on every part of her in this plane, If it is her time to go back to the Lord then I ask that she do so with the utmost of comfort and ease and I leave it in Our Lord's Hands. I ask him to keep our Angels strong and guide us and her through this and Bless her Doctors and those who are working with her to be in top shape and have compassion for our situation.

I ask of you Lord to please guide my Uncle David in staying Clean, He's been going to NA and has been making progress in that - Please help him stay strong, May your angels be there with him whenever he gets urges to hurt or endanger his body and help his Children and his Family to have more patience and Faith in him to get a second chance - May he be stronger and completely abandon his previous life style and marry a responsible and mature woman and settle down to live a clean, blessed and honest life. Act through those around him Lord, Including Myself - Show your Love and Patience, Mercy and Understanding through those around him to keep him in your light and out of temptation and out of endangerment, I ask you to keep all of those confused and negative 'friends' out of his life and only surround him with those who are committed to living up to your grace my Lord. May his Brother and Father look after him in Heaven and Guide and Forgive him for his mistakes, May the monster we've known him to be in the past be completely erased and may the Child he was before finding Drugs emerge so he can have a clean slate and live a happy life.

I ask you lord to please protect my father Frank, he's lost so much in his lifetime - He's lost his Parents at young ages, He's lost his Home they'd left to him and he lost a lot of valuable personal belongings - I thank you lord for giving him back his Siblings and for giving us the chance to be in their lives again but I ask you lord to take that bitterness from his heart, put only appreciation, gratitude for what he has and unconditional love for those around him in his heart, Help him to have a healthier Mindset and not think of what he's lost but what he will gain in your love and your abundance my lord - I thank you for allowing us to always get by but I ask you to please come into his life and erase all of his pain, his confusion and his believed weakness away and only allow him to see himself as I see him and that is the Strongest, Most Patient, Loving, Talented and Smartest Man I've ever known - I ask you Lord to give him the sights to see all the glory you've given us in our life and to never feel like he can't regain what he's lost and get even more, Give him inspiration Lord and help me to inspire him - Help Me and My Mother to make him see that he is an extraordinary person and help us to always find ways to keep him focused on our family, to never have idle time for that depression to set in - I ask of you Lord in your greatest mercy and wisdom to shine your light through me so that I can give everything I am to My Family at this time.

I love you Lord and I thank you for everything, Please forgive me for whatever sins I have committed in the past but you know I have strived for a virtuous life and I will do everything in my power to grow in your grace, to expand in your will and to become more every single day.

God Bless This Earth, It's inhabitants and the life you have breathed into it.

Please give me clarity and strength.

***As a child of God included in your inheritance is the right to good health. Yes, God uses Doctors to do a great work. The bottom line is God is the Healer. Continue to go to the Doctor that God leads you to. When God heals the doctor’s report will confirm it. God is our healer.

***Let This Be Your Confession***

Christ Has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. For it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. (Gal. 3:13)

Jesus You have redeemed me from the curse of the law. Therefore I am redeemed form ‘ALL’ sickness. I do not receive sickness as a part of my life. It has no part in me. And I command sickness in Jesus name to leave my body, flesh, mind, soul and spirit.

I Peter 2:24 ….I declare by the wounds of Jesus Christ I was healed. It is past tense. The work has already been done. God’s healing power flows in me, through me, all round me, through the Word of God and I am healed in Jesus Name. Glory be to God. I cast the burden of sickness on Jesus Christ and I go free. He who the Son Of God sets free is free indeed. Jesus Christ has set me free.

Jesus took my sickness 2000 years ago. My sickness was placed on Christ, so that I can be redeemed from sickness. Christ redeem me from all sickness. I declare it. I have a right to declare it in Jesus’ Name! I cast the spirit of doubt, worry, and fear out of my life in Jesus’ Name! God has not given me the spirit of fear, but love, power, and a sound mind. I am blessed. I am healed. I am loved. In Jesus’ Name!

****Healing Scriptures From The Word of God****

God is a healer. Continue to pray and confess the Word of God. God uses Doctors to do a great work...but the bottom line is God is the Healer. When God heals the doctor’s report will confirm it. God is our true healer.

There is healing power in God’s Word. God’s Word unleashes spiritual power that changes lives. Jesus Himself declared, “The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life†(John 6:63).

If God never intended healing for us, He never would of spoke about healing in the Word of God. Below are many promises of the Father – direct and indirect – regarding Healing. May they encourage you as they have and still do in my life. And remember God uses Doctor’s. But the bottom line is God is the healer.

(Mat 8:17 NIV) This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.â€

(Mat 15:30-31 NIV) Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them. {31} The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.

(Mat 18:18-20 NIV) “I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. {19} “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. {20} For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.â€

(Mat 21:22 NIV) If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.â€

(Mark 1:40-42 NIV) A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.†{41} Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,†he said. “Be clean!†{42} Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.

(Mark 9:22-23 NIV) “But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.†{23} “‘If you can’?†said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.â€

(Mark 11:23 NIV) “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.

(Mark 11:24 NIV) Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

(Mark 16:17-18 NIV) And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; {18} they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.â€

(Luke 13:16 NIV) Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?â€

(Luke 18:1 NIV) Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

(John 14:12-13 NIV) I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. {13} And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

(John 14:14 KJV) If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

(John 15:7-8 NIV) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. {8} This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

(John 16:23-24 NIV) In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. {24} Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

(Acts 3:16 NIV) By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.

(Acts 5:16 NIV) Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed.

(Acts 10:38 NIV) how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

(Rom 4:17 NIV) As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.†He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed–the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

(Rom 8:11 NIV) And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

(Rom 10:17 NIV) Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

(Gal 3:13-14 NIV) Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law (this includes ALL sickness- Deut. 28:61) by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.†{14} He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

(Phil 4:6-7 NIV) Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. {7} And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

(Heb 4:16 NIV) Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

(Heb 13:8 NIV) Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

(James 4:7 NIV) Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

(James 5:14-16 NIV) Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. {15} And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. {16} Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

(1 Pet 2:24 NIV) He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

(1 John 3:8 NIV) … The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

(1 John 4:4 NIV) You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

(1 John 5:14-15 NIV) This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. {15} And if we know that he hears us–whatever we ask–we know that we have what we asked of him.

(3 John 1:2 NIV) Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

(Rev 12:11 NIV) They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;

(Exo 15:26 NIV) He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.â€

(Exo 23:25-26 NIV) Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, {26} and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.

(Deu 7:15 NIV) The LORD will keep you free from every disease.

(Psa 34:19-20 NIV) A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all; {20} he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.

(Psa 41:1-3 NIV) For the director of music. A psalm of David. Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble. {2} The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. {3} The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.

(Psa 91:14-16 NIV) “Because he loves me,†says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. {15} He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. {16} With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.â€

(Psa 103:1-5 NIV) Of David. Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. {2} Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits– {3} who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, {4} who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, {5} who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

(Psa 107:19-20 NIV) Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. {20} He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.

(Psa 118:17 NIV) I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.

(Prov 4:20-22 NIV) My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. {21} Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; {22} for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body.

(Isa 53:4-5 NIV) Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. {5} But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

(Isa 54:17 NIV) no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,†declares the LORD.

(Jer 1:12 NIV) The LORD said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.â€

(Jer 30:17 NIV) But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’

(Jer 33:6 NIV) “‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.

(Mal 4:2 NIV) But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.

The lord has been answering my prayers so far, Grandmother has been in such good spirits, She's decided to forego treatment and to live out her life as full as possible from here on out and she has such a tremendous drive to achieve everything she can.

My uncle has been devoting his time to other hobbies like his work and maintaining his home, getting ready to get his teenage sons to move back in with him, He's said he wants to "make his house a home".

and My father has been much more positive and has been really looking forward to what the future holds.

Thank you Lord for everything and most of all for giving me my family.

I have another request that I will be posting soon but I am happy to say that everything is looking so much better with thanks to God and my wonderful brothers and sisters on this site. Thank you all as well!
