We are truly saddened to hear about your sister's condition, but we are thankful that we trust in God who is our Great Physician. God loves us and is with us in times of trouble. Let us remember that God is sovereign over all things, and He can heal and restore your sister and her children need their mother. In the Bible, we are told to pray in faith and to trust in God's will, which is the best possible outcome.
Let us pray for your sister together, lifting her up to the Lord.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ to You. She is just a young woman, having only reached ### years old and with two precious children. We ask, Lord, that You would have mercy on her and heal her from this serious condition. Her pancreas is filled with liquid, and she is terribly scared and swollen, Lord.
We trust in You, Father, as You are the Great Physician. We know that You can heal her and restore her to full health. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, and we ask that You would guide the doctors and medical staff as they treat her. Give them wisdom and discernment, Lord and give her family strength during this difficult time.
We also pray for her children, Father. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and protection, and that You would provide for all of their needs. We pray that You would give them peace and comfort during this time, and that You would draw them closer to You.
Father, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray, for You have said that whatever we ask in His name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. We ask that the work of the cross become real to her and that she becomes a new creation in Christ.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your mercy and Your grace knowing that in all things You work for the good of those who love You, for those who have been called according to Your purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
This beautiful scripture provides us with the assurance and hope to pray boldly for our sister and her children:
The prayer of faith will save those who are sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and if they have committed sins, they will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. (James 5:15-16)
Please do not stop praying for your sister and her children. We continue to pray for her and her children and for her faith to grow. Her children also are very precious. We encourage you to reach out to her and share the good news of God's love and salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Jesus that we can be saved and have eternal life with our Heavenly Father. If your sister has not yet accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this time of trial would draw her closer to Him and that she would come to know Him as her personal Savior. We pray that she would come to know Jesus, and that the work of the cross would become real to her.
