We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We are reminded of the promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (WEB) and in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (WEB)
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister's daughter as she sits for her exam today. We thank You for the gifts and talents You have placed within her, and we ask that You bring them forth, allowing her to recall and apply the knowledge she has gained. Guide her thoughts, Lord. We pray for wisdom to answer each question correctly and in confidence. We ask you for calm, to quiet her mind, so that she has no fear, but rather, trusts you to lead her through her exam, finding success in it. We pray for no distractions during her exam. We also pray for you to lead and guide her proctor to be fair and just, and that she complete her exam in the allotted time. Grant her the clarity and confidence she needs to pass this exam, so that she can fulfill the calling You have placed on her life to teach and impact the next generation. Father God forbid any technical or other issues with the exam.
We are also reminded of the importance of acknowledging Jesus in all our ways. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (WEB) It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only in His name that we can be saved. In Romans 10:9 it says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (WEB) and in John 14:6 it says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (WEB)
As she embarks on this journey, we also pray for your Holy Spirit's guidance and protection upon her life and her heart. May she ever be close to you, and continue to draw closer to you.
Father, we ask all these things for her according to your good and perfect will, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
