Prayer for my dad

Hi Please can you pray for my dad ###, he has stage ### cancer and his has very little blood flow to his legs, he has ### compromised kidney, tomorrow is his check up please pray that all is well... Please pray that his kidney count doesn't drop and please pray that the cancer doesn't spread Thank you

We join with you in lifting up your dad before our heavenly Father and we bring his needs before the throne of grace together in Jesus name. Our hearts are moved by your love for him as he faces stage cancer with very little blood flow to his legs and a compromised kidney, and we understand how heavy the waiting is before his check up tomorrow.

We are reminded that our God is the great physician and that nothing is beyond His power and mercy. We cling to His promises with you, for He says in Jeremiah 30:17 I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also take comfort in Isaiah 41:10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in James 5:15 the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We pray together now for your dad.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this precious dad to You. You know him by name, You formed him and You know every detail of his body. Lord we ask for Your healing hand to rest upon him. We pray against the cancer and ask in Jesus name that it would not spread any further. We pray for his kidney, that his counts would remain stable and not drop, and that his kidney function would be strengthened and restored. We pray for the blood flow to his legs, that circulation would improve and that You would bring healing to his vessels and tissues. We pray for complete peace for him and for his family as they wait for tomorrow's check up, and we ask that You give wisdom and discernment to the doctors and medical team, guiding every test and every decision. Let the results tomorrow bring encouragement and hope, and above all let Your will be done. We ask for Your comfort to surround this family and for Your presence to be felt in a powerful way, in Jesus name we pray, amen.

We also want to gently share with you that we come to the Father only through Jesus Christ, for there is power in His name alone. You did not mention His name in your request, and we want to encourage you with this truth because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for in Romans 10:9 if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Him that our prayers are heard and our hope is secure, both for healing in this life and for eternal life to come.

We will continue to keep your dad and your family in our prayers, especially for tomorrow's appointment. We pray that the Lord will grant you all His perfect peace that surpasses understanding and that you will feel His loving arms sustaining you through each step. We trust that God who loves you deeply is working even now for good according to Romans 8:28, and we stand with you in faith believing for His mercy and healing.

Waiting for a checkup like tomorrow's is so hard, especially when you are carrying several worries at once about his cancer, his kidneys, and the circulation in his legs. We hear how much you love him and how much you want tomorrow to bring steady news.

We are joining you in prayer for his appointment, that his kidney numbers would remain stable and that there would be no spread of the cancer, and for wisdom for the doctors caring for him.

For tomorrow, it can help to have a short written list to take with you or to send with him, his current medicines, any recent changes you have noticed, and the two or three questions that matter most to you right now. If you can, having another family member or friend go with him to listen and write down what the doctor says often makes it easier to remember afterwards. And continuing closely with his medical team alongside prayer is the best way to watch over these concerns.

This kind of prolonged illness weighs on the whole family, not just the one who is sick. Be gentle with yourself in these days as you support him.

Father, we lift this dear dad to You and ask for Your nearness and mercy over him. We ask for steadiness in his kidney function, for protection over his body, and for clear guidance for his doctors tomorrow. Give this family peace as they wait, strength for each step, and comfort in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for your dear father has been heard with deep sympathy and we have carried it before the throne of grace.

There is no hope in ourselves when sickness lays its heavy hand upon those we love, and the physician's skill can do but little. Yet there is hope in our Father, for His name is God That Is Good. He is not a distant judge but the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and when He is viewed aright He becomes the object of our gratitude and trust. The love of the Father is in all respects equal to the love of the Son, and He delights to receive those who come to Him through Christ.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch brings virtue, and His blood still flows as the great conduit from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. While Jehovah lives the mourner need not despair, for there is One who careth for you and for your father.

Let us pray together for him.

O Blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we bow before Thee and bless Thy name that Thou art our Father. We thank Thee that Thou hast revealed Thyself in Jesus, and that he that hath seen Him hath seen the Father. We bring before Thee this dear father who suffers with cancer and with feeble blood flow to his legs and with a compromised kidney. Thou knowest his frame, Thou hast numbered his days, and not a pain escapes Thine eye.

We entreat Thee for tomorrow and the check up which awaits him. Grant wisdom and carefulness to those who examine him. If it be Thy gracious will, we pray that Thou wouldst stay the spread of this disease, that Thou wouldst preserve the strength of his kidney and keep his count from falling, and that Thou wouldst restore warmth and flow to his limbs. Thou art able to heal, and we ask for healing according to Thy mercy. Yet we say with Thy Son, Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Thy sight, and we leave him in Thy tender hands.

Grant also the greater healing, which is pardon. Let him know that his sins are forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ, that the spirit of adoption may enter and make him cry, Abba, Father. In the dust of self abasement may he find hope, and being humbled may he receive Thy pardon and Thy peace. Comfort his family, sustain his children who watch and wait, and give them a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ.

Hear us, O Father, according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. May Thy will be done and Thy name be glorified, whether by healing or by sustaining grace. To Father, Son and Holy Spirit be glory forever and ever. Amen.
