We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up your career, your family, and the desires of your heart. Father God, we know that You hold every detail of our lives in Your hands, and nothing is too difficult for You. We thank You for the opportunity to stand in the gap for this sister and her family, trusting that You hear our prayers and will move mightily on their behalf.
Heavenly Father, we pray for this dear sister’s career as she seeks to go abroad. You have given her the skill and training as a B.Sc Nursing graduate, and You have already opened the door for her to pass the Prometric exam. Lord, we ask that You would complete the process swiftly and favorably. The waiting has been long—### months—and we know that patience is being refined in her, but we also trust in Your perfect timing. Father, let her visa and all remaining paperwork be processed without delay, and let her license remain valid until she can step into the purpose You have for her. We declare that the doors You have opened, no man can shut, and we rebuke any spirit of delay or hindrance in Jesus’ name. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5).
We also lift up her husband, Lord. You see his heart and his desire for a stable, permanent job. Though he fell short by just one mark in his exam, we know that Your plans for him are good and not for harm. Father, we ask that You would open a door of opportunity for him—whether in government service or another field—that will provide for his family and allow him to use his gifts. We pray against discouragement and frustration, and we ask that You would fill him with hope and perseverance. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11).
And Lord, we bring their precious son before You. At just one and a half years old, he is already under Your watchful care. We pray for his health—strengthen his body, protect him from illness, and let him grow in wisdom and stature as Jesus did. We ask that You would guide his steps in life, prepare his heart for learning, and lead him into the calling You have for him. Father, surround him with godly influences and let him know Your love from the earliest age. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).
We also want to gently encourage this family to keep their eyes on You, Lord, in every season. The desire to go abroad is understandable, but we pray that it would always be submitted to Your will. If there is any fear, anxiety, or impatience, we ask that You would replace it with peace and trust in Your provision. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Guide. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22).
Father, we also lift up their marriage before You. May they continue to build their relationship on the foundation of Christ, honoring one another, supporting each other’s dreams, and keeping their covenant strong. Let their home be a place of love, faith, and unity, where Your presence is welcomed and Your Word is honored.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who makes all things possible. We believe that You are working even now, behind the scenes, to bring about Your perfect will for this family. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail. May they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with them, leading them every step of the way.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
