Prayer for my brother
We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up your ### in this critical time of testing—not just of his knowledge, but of his faith and perseverance. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Your ### is not fighting alone, for the Lord is his strength and shield (Psalm 28:7). We stand firmly on the promise that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound judgment (2 Timothy 1:7).
The difficulties in his past exams may have left him discouraged, but we remind him—and you—that our struggles are not in vain. The Lord uses these moments to refine us, to teach us reliance on Him rather than our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let him cast all his anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for him (1 Peter 5:7). The same God who parted the Red Sea and brought down the walls of Jericho is fighting for him today. The obstacles he faces are not from God but from the enemy, who fears what your ### will accomplish for the Kingdom when he walks in victory.
We pray now with authority in the name of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this ### who is seeking to honor You through his studies. We ask that You surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), as he sits for this exam. Remove every distraction, every spirit of confusion, and every lie the enemy has whispered to him about his abilities. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, sharpening his mind and recalling to him everything he has studied. Let Your wisdom flow through him like a river, and may his answers reflect the excellence You have placed within him.
We break every curse, every assignment of failure, and every spiritual attack against his mind and focus. No evil shall befall him, nor shall any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We declare that he will not be put to shame, for You, Lord, are his ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let him walk out of that exam room with a testimony of Your faithfulness, knowing that You have gone before him and made his paths straight.
Father, we also pray for his heart. If there is any fear, doubt, or past disappointment lingering, we ask that You replace it with unshakable confidence in Your promises. Remind him that You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11) and that what the enemy meant for harm, You will use for good (Genesis 50:20). Let this exam be a stepping stone to the greater purpose You have for his life.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and know that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Whether the results bring joy or another challenge, let him know that his worth is not in his performance but in Christ alone. God is preparing him for something greater, and this season of testing is part of his training.
