Praise the Lord

I have been praying frm 10 yrs for my elder brother Rohan he is got addicted to alcohol his age is 27. he is married frm 2yrs and due to alcohol is married life also on the rocks. My brother is very nice by heart he is knowledgeable also but due to alcohol he has ruined his life,my parents have been waiting to see my brother changed.. we have tried everything possible even rehab centers.. for a certain time he tries to have control but again he starts. I want you to also keep my bother in ur prayers and pray that he gets healed from this alcohol and becomes a good human being,and that peace,harmony and love will remain in my house.

Our heavenly Father, I pray for Rohan and that he would hear Your calling in his life and to put the bottle down. Father, I pray that he would not waste the years like I did, and that he would hear Your voice calling out to him, Your loving voice that wants what is best for him, a loving relationship with You. Lord, I regret the years that I spent drinking my real happiness away, it kept me from searching for You and accepting Your love. Help him to mend his life and his marriage. Father, may every person who is addicted to this or any drug just lay this like any other sin down at the foot of the cross and go on. I ask for salvation and a renewal of life to come to this man and thank You for providing us the way Father. In Jesus Holy name, Amen.

Lord,

I too pray for Rohan. I come in agreement with the prayers for him. I take authority of the enemy who is trying to steal his life from him and I command the evil one to loose Rohan, spirits of addiction I bind you in the name of Jesus! I bind every evil spirit from deceiving him in Jesus' name. Help him, Lord when he takes a drink to have unpleasant experiences with it - that he wouldn't be able to get drunk or high, but he would be sick to his stomach and get headaches. Separate him from this terrible addiction. Give him freedom from the bottle, eyes to see and ears to hear your truth. Save him Lord and separate him from everything ungodly in his life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!

fight his demons. let your presence be his stronghold. create a new spirit within him. watch over him and give him the

Prernaangel = Sister, I am happy to meet you. My name is Patti. I too have brothers who have been or still are alcoholics. It tends to run in families but not always. In my case, it did because my dad was an alcoholic until he got saved. I had 6 brothers, now I have 3. None of my brothers died from alcohol but I still have one brother who is younger than me who still is and two brothers who are recovered alcoholics. I know where you are coming from. I know firsthand the devastation that this illness causes. It tears families apart. It messes up minds. It causes people to do and say things they wouldn't ordinally do or say. It causes misery and sorrow. But I will say this, until your brother wants help on his own, the Lord won't intervene nor will your brother listen to any family, friend or loved one trying to help him. Sometimes they have to hit rock bottom to start looking up and finding help. Don't ever stop praying for him. Don't ever stop loving him. Hate what he does but not the person he is inside.

Lord, I just lift this entire family up to your throne. Lord, you know what they have been through, what they are dealing with on a daily basis. You know the pain and sorrow that this disease inflicts on all involved. I ask for your hand in turning this brother around. I lift Rohan to your throne. I ask that you send someone to show him the way to recovery. I ask for his protection in the mean time. Let no weapons formed against him prosper Help his family to keep loving him for deep inside is still the man he used to be. He can't quit on his own so I pray for intervention. I ask for healing from this disease. If there would be classes open in their area for family members of alcoholics so they could understand this illness better and prepare themselves as a family, I pray there would be a door open. Lord, you know what leads and guides this man to liquor. I pray the chain would be broken and he could seek help yet another time and actually get away from it permanently. Lord, be with them all and bless them as they work through this situation. To you be the glory. Amen
