Prayer For Mom

My mother Lorraine was diagnosed with colon cancer. Please pray for strength for her, healing, and safety and comfort in God's presence. She is having a CT scan tomorrow to determine the extent of the cancer. I hope it has not metastisized.

I feel strange for asking this, but please pray for me as well. That I remain calm and focused. Her former doctor was very slow and not proactive in sending her for tests when initial symptoms appeared. This has left me very angry and resentful as I think it might have been stopped in the earlier stages. Thank you and god bless you all

Lord, I touch my brother's request. I feel the anxiety and concern in his heart. I feel the dissappointment at the intial doctor in not making an earlier diagnosis. Lord, you are the great physician, there is none better than you. I pray you would touch Lorraine's body and make her whole again. I pray you would neutalize each cancer cell and cause the body to expell it and replace it with new, healthy cells. Be with Lorraine today as she goes for her testing. Give this woman a miracle that you would be glorified. I thank you for your hand upon her today. I pray for my brother, that he find peace knowing that you are in charge. Remove the root of bitterness before it gets anchored in his spirit. May he have peace and joy knowing that you are watching over him and his precious mother. Be with this family. May they be close in the bond of love with you at the center. I praise you today for what you will do and thank you for touching these prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers....we received the results a few moments ago and the cancer is limited to the colon and possibly only a single lymph node. Her chances of survival have increased nicely! I am so thankful to you all. If I ever had a doubt about the caring love of God and how He works miracles in our lives, it has been removed forever. I would like to offer this prayer of thanksgiving-

Almighty God, you gave your only Son to show us the unconditional love and affection you have for us. I am so thankful that my mother has received your love and grace. Thank yuo for taking her, my family, and myself into your hands and giving us hope. I am forever grateful for the miracle you performed in lives. AMEN
