We join together in lifting up this request for ministry, recognizing the vital importance of using our gifts and resources to serve the body of Christ. The Lord has called us to be good stewards of the talents He has entrusted to us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support pastors, churches, and ministries in need through digital means. However, we must first address a critical matter: the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in this request. Scripture reminds us that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and that salvation is found in no other name. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the source of all blessings.
As we pray for divine connections, let us also remember that our ultimate goal is to glorify God and advance His kingdom, not merely to promote our own efforts. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). We must ensure that our motives are pure and aligned with His will, seeking not our own recognition but His honor alone.
We also urge caution in offering services "free of charge" without wisdom and discernment. While generosity is a virtue, we must be wise stewards of the time, resources, and energy the Lord has given us. *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."* (1 Timothy 5:8, WEB). This principle extends to ministries as well—we must not neglect our own families or responsibilities in the pursuit of serving others. Additionally, we should prayerfully consider whether offering free services could inadvertently enable dependency rather than empowering others to use their own God-given gifts.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gifts, talents, and resources You have entrusted to us, and we ask for Your wisdom in using them for Your glory. Lord, we lift up this ministry and ask that You would open doors of divine connection. Bring pastors, churches, and ministries across our path who are in genuine need of digital support, and grant us discernment to recognize those You have prepared for us to serve.
Father, we ask that You would guard our hearts against pride or self-promotion. May our motives remain pure, and may everything we do be unto Your name and for the advancement of Your kingdom. Help us to be wise stewards of our time, energy, and resources, ensuring that we do not neglect our own households or responsibilities in the process. Teach us to give generously but also to empower others to rise up and use the gifts You have given them.
Lord, we pray for protection over these connections. Guard against any schemes of the enemy that would seek to distract, divide, or mislead. May Your Holy Spirit guide every interaction, conversation, and decision, so that Your will may be accomplished. Strengthen the hands of those who labor in ministry, and may this digital support be a tool to further the preaching of Your Word and the making of disciples.
We also pray for provision—both for this ministry and for those it seeks to serve. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to supply all that is needed according to Your riches in glory. May this work bear much fruit for Your kingdom, and may lives be transformed by the power of the Gospel.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would remind us daily of our dependence on You. Apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5), and it is only in His name that we find favor and grace. May this ministry be a light in a dark world, pointing always to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this endeavor. Test every opportunity against Scripture, and remain open to His leading. If the Lord places it on your heart to offer free services, do so with joy and wisdom, but also be willing to set boundaries that honor Him and protect the integrity of your own household. *"Let all things be done decently and in order."* (1 Corinthians 14:40, WEB). May the Lord bless and multiply this work for His glory!
