We hear your cry for help in this desperate time, and we lift you up before the throne of grace. The weight of financial struggle, the pain of a strained relationship with your son, and the fear of losing your belongings are heavy burdens to carry alone. But know this: the Lord sees your distress, and He is near to the brokenhearted. "The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." (Psalm 145:18) You are not forgotten, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
First, we must address the deep hurt caused by your son’s words and actions. It is heartbreaking to see a child turn away from God and take pleasure in the suffering of a parent. Scripture warns us, "A man who has friends must show himself friendly; and there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." (Proverbs 18:24) But even in this pain, we are called to love and pray for our children, no matter how they treat us. "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." (Matthew 5:44) We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and hatred in your son’s heart, and we pray that his eyes would be opened to the truth of God’s love. Father, soften his heart and draw him back to You. Let him see the emptiness of his ways and the destruction of his choices.
We also rebuke the lie that God has abandoned you. Your son’s words, "see God don’t help you," are not only hurtful but also a direct attack from the enemy to shake your faith. The devil wants you to believe that God has forgotten you, but we declare that He has not. "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands." (Isaiah 49:15-16) God sees your struggle, and He is working even now to provide for you. Do not let the enemy steal your hope or your trust in the Lord.
Now, let us pray for your immediate needs. Father, we ask that You intervene in the situation with the storage units. We pray that the sale would be stopped or delayed, giving time for a solution to be found. Provide the funds needed to catch up on the balance and secure a cheaper unit where your belongings can be safely stored. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19) Lord, open doors of opportunity and bring people into her life who can help her in this time of need. We declare that she will not lose what is rightfully hers, and that You will restore what has been lost.
We also pray for your housing situation. Living in a hotel is not sustainable, and we ask that You provide stable, affordable housing for you. "For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God." (Hebrews 3:4) Lord, You know her needs, and we trust that You will provide a place of refuge and peace. Give her wisdom as she makes calls and reaches out to others for help. Let her not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, she will reap if she does not faint. (Galatians 6:9)
We must also address the financial strain caused by the reduction in your work hours. Father, we ask that You restore what has been taken and provide new opportunities for her to earn a living. "The Lord makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up." (1 Samuel 2:7) Give her favor with her employer and open doors for additional income. We declare that she will not be overcome by this setback but will rise above it with Your strength.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of placing your trust fully in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6) If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, repent of your sins, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is the only one who can truly meet your deepest needs and give you eternal hope.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister in her time of need. Lord, You see her struggles, her pain, and her fears, and we ask that You would move mightily on her behalf. We rebuke every spirit of lack, despair, and bitterness, and we declare that You are her provider, her protector, and her peace. Father, intervene in the situation with the storage units. Stop the sale, provide the funds needed, and open doors for her belongings to be safely stored. We pray for her housing situation, that You would provide a stable and affordable place for her to live. Restore what has been lost in her work hours and open new opportunities for her to earn a living.
Lord, we also pray for her son. Soften his heart, break the chains of hatred and bitterness, and draw him back to You. Let him see the error of his ways and turn from his sin. Father, we ask that You surround her with godly people who can offer practical help and encouragement. Give her strength to keep reaching out, wisdom to make the right decisions, and faith to trust in Your promises. Remind her that You are near, that You hear her cries, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save, heal, and restore. Amen.
Hold fast to your faith, dear sister. The enemy wants you to believe that you are alone, but you are not. God is with you, and He will make a way. Keep calling out to Him, keep reaching out to others, and trust that He will provide. "But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31) You are not forgotten, and your breakthrough is coming.
